I think the ideal scenario is:
1) win easily so we can play a bunch of guys
2) Petty shows no signs of a long-term shooting slump

It's why I came to the office this morning to get a few things done since the wife and kids left for spring break this morning. I'd be drunker than piss by tipoff if I was home and left to my own devices.

It has been such an awesome sports year for Bama. We haven't truly appreciated the effort the entirety of AD staff, programs, and players in all sports have placed into high end training, prep and practice while staying relatively CV19 free.
Amazing effort and restraint given the rigorous testing that has limited so many teams.
The big 10 and other conferences were a mess all fall, with tOSU needing to change rules just to get a CCG appearance. aTm played only 18 games and basically had a Feb bye. Iona played only 13 regular season games, and not a single game in the month of Jan; that is amazing.
2020 Football was special. The senior leadership and scrappy nature of this BB team is special, as well. 2 x SEC champs and a #2 seed. Hoping for a deep run, they deserve it! Hopefully, they catch the breaks needed to do it in this tournament format.
Then... on to baseball where it is starting off great as well

Very cool story from Pettway's wife.
Stories like that put things in perspective real quick. Tear jerker for me. Great to see the players as Great human beings that make UA a special place

I'd like to see Petty get comfortable with his shot.

It would be hard for me to put Primo out there if he's not 100% with Gary/Ellis sitting there.

Yea honestly Primo isnt really needed unless we make the sweet 16 and just need the depth. Not that he isn’t awesome, but Ellis and JQ are playing lights out right now.

The rise in Keon's confidence and overall game has made Primo not as crucial as I expected a several weeks ago. I'd love to have him, but the talent is still there for a deep run. The deeper we get, the more important it would be for Primo to be at 100% to be effective. So no need to rush things. Because he's has a lot of good basketball ahead of him.

i agree with all assessments. its hard to watch bruner try to guard a mobile big man. just thinking its never bad to have all hands on deck.

Here's to another completely unproductive day, genitalmen....
I'm going to attempt chip away at my mountain of chores, get distracted, roll one and watch twice as much of a game as I'd intended, bitch about my unproductivity to anyone that calls, roll another one, scream profanity at Pitino, stop whatever I'm doing on upset alert, hopefully laugh at a couple big 10 teams, then cuss when I realized I didn't get shite done.
Never move into a new place in March.
frick Pitino and Roll Tide!

He's definitely lost a step laterally since his return. I'm hoping with the rest between rounds, he'll continue to heal, gain trust in his body's ability to play quickly, and improve on D between rests.
But if we manage to get deep enough and play Michigan, he'll be valuable in the post.

Maybe Bruner will be moving around a little better today with some rest. 3 straight days was probably asking too much out of him.

Did we send into fluffers into quarantine with the team? There's a lot of down time in the bubble.
