Yea, that was an obvious one but I still got Nova winning the game then getting bounced in the next round!

This Rutgers/Clemson game is hard to watch. Both teams are having a hard time even hitting rim on mid range jumpers right now.

We didn't get the opportunity to watch the NCAA tournament last year after a year of being conditioned by CNO to Bama's new play-style.

After finally being able to watch a full day of NCAA Tourney basketball in the CNO era, I am amazed at how much CNO is RIGHT about the college game on offense.

SOOOOOOO many open 3's passed up for a midrange contested 2 that gets bricked. So many ugly shot choices. So many plays run just to get a 12 footer at the elbow.

It has changed the way I watch basketball. If it's not a CNO shot, I automatically find myself saying "that was a terrible take" in my head.

I would rather watch Alex Reese go 1/6 on in-rhythm, wide-open step-in 3s at the top of the key that are GREAT looks than have him pass that up to get Petty a contested 15 footer. All day.

Winthrop is kind of fun. They get up and down the court.

This was my #1 upset pick coming in. Granted, not that gutsy a pick considering Nova's been struggling since their PG got hurt.

Same here. That was my 12 upset. Should've known Tennessee would choke, and almost picked them upset. But they played us so damn well. But again, kinda choked. So no excuse for not seeing it coming.

If we could replay our non conference we would destroy Stanford, Clemson, and WKU

Ends a 38 year drought. That’s a long time. Like I was 2 when they last won a game. I like their coach too...despite that whole dance on the floor and not night club intro.

From 11 Warriors...

quote:

Rarely does a team as seeded as highly as the Buckeyes out-shoot a No. 15 seed (43.3-35.6) and have a plus-17 rebounding margin yet lose. But that’s exactly what happened.

Oral Roberts missed 14 of 15 shots in the middle of the first half during a stretch that lasted nearly eight minutes. The Buckeyes, playing against the team with the lowest defensive efficiency rating in the NCAA Tournament, were only up by five points once Kevin Obanor knocked down a 3-pointer with 7:16 remaining in the first half. Had Ohio State managed to get something going offensively at that point, it could have put a significant gap between the two teams on the scoreboard. Instead, it entered halftime trailing by three.

In the second half alone, the Golden Eagles made 8-of-29 shots (27.6 percent) and went 4-for-17 from behind the arc (23.5 percent) while they were outrebounded 24-10. They made one shot from the field in the last five minutes and none after Max Abmas hit a jumper in the paint with 4:28 left.

And they still won. Somehow, some way, they pulled it off.

16 to 6 turnover margin in favor of OR played a significant, yet not mentioned part.

Probably a good time to mention I had West Virginia in my National Championship game.

It's just a portion of the article. Obviously you don't have those stat advantages and lose without really screwing up somewhere else.

Baffles me seeing a player pass up a wide open, rhythm, catch and shoot just to take a dribble or two inside the three point line for a now contested jump shot.
