I thought this was mostly fine, especially in the second half. UNLV was really shooting it over their heads in the first half.

We have a lot of work to do, obviously. But there have been years where we’ve lost this type of game.

Not a super pretty win but a good one that ended on a positive stretch.

Providence is a big one. Winnable game against a similar tiered team.

Wasn't there a 5-6 year stretch when we played Providence 3-4 times?

EDIT : 2002/2003 and 2009/2010

Announcers tomorrow, probably: “Alabama goes from the Grill to the Friars! We must mention a fried food whenever Providence makes a shot! By the way, have you ever been snowboarding?”

Nice win tonight. Much better shooting & rebounding. UNLV was fighting to not go to 0-3.
On to tomorrow's game.
Alabama 2-1
Providence 2-1

Did anyone catch the part where the color guy was talking about guys getting tired because of the altitude in Asheville ?

Las Vegas is 100 feet lower altitude than Asheville

Maybe it's that I grew up in those same mountains, but I don't ever remember anyone discussing trips to Asheville like trips to Denver or Mexico City.
