Great win! I get too frustrated with the mistakes because I know the kids can play much better. We've all seen it.

JQ played pretty poorly until he hit that corner 3. Finished with 18 points and 4 assist.
He's absolutely got to continue this play if this team will make a run in the tournament. There's just not another player on the roster good at getting blow bys, breaking down the defense, and finishing with layups. Like the rest of the team though, he has inopportune turnovers that make zero sense and kill runs.
It wasn't pretty for Primo (5-14) either, but he did finish with 11. Hopefully this means he will crank it up.

It’s called being a Fan and the back and forth emotions of the game. Football game threads are the exact same about the defense and Pete Golding and we win every game by 50.

I do miss Bola. Son of a Gun could miss the rim of a layup attempt but dammit he could rebound

And that’s fine. I appreciate the passion. It’s still funny though. 5 minutes of poor play and the team is 6-21 instead of 21-6

I've been watching the USC-UCLA game and UCLA has already taken 4 long 2s. I feel personally attacked.

I avoid in game basketball threads on this board like the plague. Unless we are up by 30 it's a hellscape.

I think Oats was trying to emphasis getting him the ball, and trying to get him to play his way out of his slump. Him getting his confidence back would be huge towards being able to make a deep run in the tournament. If he can get 12+ efficiently, then that brings up depth and versatility to the elite level. That would give 7+options to get 10 ppg. That's a matchup nightmare for almost anyone.

Really balanced scoring today, five players scored 10 points or more.
Great to see Herb 100%, his getting to the rim and scoring/getting fouled was a huge part of our offense in January when we were dominating, great to see him doing it again.
Was good to see Primo score some points again, we need him consistently scoring.
