Maybe Kentucky can stop being so greedy and give us one of their 5 5-star recruits.
What's funny is that everyone of their Freshmen could really benefit from staying an extra year

I see this more as a chance for 2K to get the love from all of the schools that want to court him. Maybe he just wanted a chance to experience that and still come back to Bama. Maybe......

Read on a Kansas message board that his grandmother had passed away, maybe he decided he wanted to be closer to home? I dunno, either way this is a tough pill to swallow.

Baylor is trending in the Crystal ball forecast with 53%. Kansas 32%. Alabama is 16%. Also others he's considering are Maryland, Texas, and Arizona according to his HC.

I'll be extremely surprised if we are still being seriously considered. Always hate to hear when someone loses a loved one, but in this case I don't see why that would affect his college decision.

Hopefully he at least called Avery last night/this morning to decommit before this news became public.

If he didn't, that would change my opinion of him a little bit. Hopefully he comes back, but good luck to him if he doesn't. He should be an exciting player to watch next season.

First off, I'm sorry he lost his grandmother.
Ok, I don't have any insider information or anything like that. I believe the rumors of him going into the Baylor locker room were true. I wouldn't be shocked if he were to commit to Baylor within 10 days.

Weird recruitment. Never seen a kid go from pro Bama everything to decommitting in a months time. Good luck to him.

Yeah this was VERY weird. This has to be his mom making him stay. He had Bama and Bama only on everything, Snapchat, Twitter, Periscope, everything. Then goes to the Bama/Auburn game in front of a sold out crowd and we won. Then 3 days later de-commits. I don't understand

Maybe he watched us try to hump a basketball for 40 minutes against an equally pathetic Auburn team and thought "Wait, what the fvck am I doing, I can go to Kansas"

Lol. That should be even more reason to go to Bama tho. He sees we have a team that needs help and he knows he would start from day 1 at Bama and he sees that we can sell out the arena with a bad team so he should know we would sell out probably even more games next year. At Kansas or Baylor, he probably would start but he's gonna have competition and a lot of pressure. Also, at Bama u get to build a legacy by helping Bama get back to being relevant. At Kansas or Baylor, ur just another 5 star player to them on a team that's used to success and doesn't appreciate it as much as we would.

ESPN article. Same guy, different story. Own up to it, kid.

Ok so one story says he's been thinking about it for months. The next story is his grandma passed away and he's considering staying closer to home. Whatever, just make up ur mind so we can move on with or without u please.

Exactly, just admit that this is the reason you didn't sign in November.

That's why this makes no sense. He did sign with us in Nobember. They were going to have a ceremony and all that, but then his grandmother passed away and it was just unfortunate timing. Literally in the last hour of the signing period, they quietly faxed his papers in, and Bama didn't announce it to the public.

Yeah. I'm not in a position to say where I hear these things. I shouldn't have said what I just said, but I'm so frustrated and confused as to what is going on, I just had to vent for a minute.
