I'm sorry, but this is BS. I'm not sure what has changed to cause this. He commits to us when we suck and we've blown away expectations for this year. The fact that they reacted with shock to Bama fans questioning their loyalty for not signing, emphasized that this delay was just for family reasons, and then decommit several months later is complete horseshite. I hope we get him back, but if we don't, I can't say I'll be rooting for them. My jimmies are very rustled.

I agree with all of this. This situation is horseshite and he has known for awhile he wasn't going to Bama.

Why on earth would he decommit at this point? Clearly Avery is the man for the job.

Any chance whatsoever this is a ploy by Avery Johnson to have him commit back before signing day for some hoopla/TV attention for Alabama?

I guess there's always a chance, but I'm sure Avery would have rather he signed during the early signing period.

No. That's bush league stuff.

If he comes back, it will be because the staff convinced him. CAJ's having success on the court both on and off the court. If he doesn't want to be a part of it, well, Bye Felicia.

Well, any other alternative wings out there we could possibly snatch?

Maybe Kentucky can stop being so greedy and give us one of their 5 5-star recruits.

I kind of feel like this too. It's clear Avery can coach some guys up. As long as Ferguson leaving doesn't result in other guys jumping ship, I still feel like we're in great shape moving forward.

Would we give Arkansas one of our 5-star defensive lineman recruits?

Oh yea, no reason for meltdown at all. Just a stinger for a few days.

This sucks. But it won't kill my optimism. Heck, I got on board every single year that Grant was our head coach, so this can't stop me. We add Davis, Key, King, even AJ jr, and get Ingram back.. Add a big man hopefully. Ferguson seemed like the spot up 3 guy we needed and I felt like he would be great in transition and when Avery most likely speeds up the pace of play next year. So it's definitely a loss, but I'm still getting season tickets next year for the first time in my life.

How do you help recruit others to the cause, have them sign and lock themselves in, and then bolt like that? If I was Key and Davis, I'd have a major beef with him.

Yea, if I were Key I'd be pissed. Maybe this is why Bolden cooled on us so fast.
