Northeastern is a team that gets down by a lot early and then finds a way to comeback and win. If we get out to a big lead, I hope we don't get complacent.

That is about the worst kind of team that we could play then. My least favorite thing about this Bama team isn't even the offense sometimes. It is how we tend to come out flat to start the 2nd half if we have any kind of lead (Saturday was one of the few exceptions IMO). And if we are down at all, we seem to come out full of energy. It sucks because I sometimes have myself less worried if we are down a couple points than up a couple at halftime.

I can't remember the last time I've been up here and not gone to a home game, but tomorrow I will stand against the basketball athletic department.
I'll show up for Stanford and Maryland though.

Can I just say, Crimson Chaos really makes me laugh sometimes
Basketball will never become popular among students without serious change

This is true but it's a give-and-take relationship. If we get more fans to come then we get better. If we get better then we get more fans to come. Also it wouldn't hurt if they gave us a more modern arena. All of the other SEC school's arena's look like the fricking NBA arenas compared to Coleman.

Yep. But there's simple things they could do also.
If they want to increase student attendance, make it popular for freshmen to go. Get RAs to publicisize it. Bus students straight to the arena if you have to. They have the capability.
Don't announce at 11:15 on a Tuesday that there are 150 free tickets for a game against Northeastern that you can pick up at Coleman by 1:00 if you're in Chaos. No one is going to do that

That charge call on Releford before the half was bs. Negated a 3 point play too.

There are a ridiculous amount of charge calls in basketball. It was meant to be a rare occasion where a defender, who actually has legitimate position, gets ran over by an out of control driver. Now as long as the defender has his balls in his hands falls over, he'll get the call.

I'm sorry, but there was no way in hell I was going to actually pay to go. It's a big enough pain trying to get over there, finding a place to park, walking over there, ect. Not to mention the fact that I'm not very pleased with the team in general and really did not enjoy the games this year.

I feel you. But parking wasn't really that bad. I'm sitting by the band, and there are plenty of seats open.

How bad is attendance, really? It looks like maybe 200 students are there.
ETA: I had class tonight... got out at 8. I could've made it, but it would've been difficult for me. But knowing they were going to charge me really made the decision for me
