Ill be very happy if we get to conference play 11-2. Anything better than that would be unbelievably great. I'm not sure how good of post players Cincy has so it's hard for me to say how well we matchup with them. I think we matchup well with VCU though.

I know we have Lamar tomorrow, but does anyone know how well we matchup with Cincy?

They seem to be more of a perimeter oriented team. They shoot over 22 3s per game, and no one on their roster over 6'8" averages even 20 minutes a night. They are basically a more talented/experienced version of us.

Hopefully. If we can come out of that stretch where we have @Cincy, @VCU, and Dayton at home with 2 wins I will feel really good about this team's ability to possibly end up with a 5 or 6 seed.

Cincy hasn't played anyone yet either...so maybe we can sneak up on them a bit.

Not that it means shite, but CBS Sports has us as the number 17 team in the nation, higher than Cincy at 22. Not sure exactly why, or if I even like being ranked 17th (didn't work out that well last time around), but for some unexplainable reason I think we will beat Cincy and lose to Dayton.

Just noticed we are on the very edge of the Top 25 at 26 in the AP poll.

I haven't heard anything. I hope he does if he's able, but I'm more concerned about him being ready to play against Cincy.

So if we win tonight and then beat Cincy should we be ranked after that?

I am watching on TideTV but it looks like Retin, Lacey, Levi, Pollard, and Carl. Just trying to get them minutes maybe? Carl still can't catch a basketball to save his life.

And now one of the walk ons is out there. Grant does realize that this game counts, right?

This is embarrassing so far. This isn't a SDSU mid-major.

Slaughter is actually a pretty good walk-on. Not surprised he is seeing minutes.
