Hell of a weekend We should be top 20 in the new polls, but more importantly, three huge SEC wins against a high RPI team.

Yep looks like our RPI is now up to 18 and we could possibly host a regional. Obviously there is enough baseball left for us too get better or worse, but as of today we are really good.

We have a solid three starters, several strong arms in the bullpen that can provide several innings, and a line up that is streaky, but during any give game can get you from the 1-9 spot.

And as a bonus Eicholtz provides us with the key fourth starter for the sec tourney & regional round.

That's really the whole key. If we get consistent production we're going to have a really strong finish. Everything you said is spot on though.

Ways we can improve cut down on bad walks, clean up our fielding, and I would like to see two or three more guys coming out of the bullpen.

Hopefully Hubbard will be back soon and give us another arm out of the pen. We do have to watch some of those young guys, I feel like we've used Burrows a ton. You'd hate to see him wear down, but I'm sure they've got a handle on it though.

Huge week coming up. We need to go at least 3-1, 2-2 at worst. aTm is 17-4 at home and took two of three from Florida a couple of weeks back.

Absolutely have to beat ULM at home. And if we are going to win a SEC series on the road, it has to come in College Station.

Yea we have to win three games this week if we want to stay on the right track for potentially hosting a regional. Obviously we can't lose to ULM and you have to win a road series at A&M if you are a top 20 team. Georgia just did it this weekend and they're pretty bad.

ETA: that A&M/UGA series was in Athens, but the point remains. We don't want to lose the series in College Station if we intend being a serious threat in the SEC all year long. We already blew one winnable road series at Arkansas.

Yeah.. We have to sweep or win 2 at A&M. We need to win 7 of our next 9 in the SEC. The end of our schedule is brutal.

Tucker Hawley is getting the start tonight. I expect we'll begin to see him get some more midweek starts to help ensure Eicholtz stays fresh for the end of the year and postseason play, but also to keep Eicholtz available for some relief appearances in SEC play.

Haynie and Overstreet are out tonight, Haynie has a mild concussion and Overstreet some sort of minor hamstring injury.

No I haven't seen anything on them aside from a tweet from DC Reeves. It didn't sound too serious in either case though so hopefully they'll be good to go.
