Great win! Love to see some offense. Definitely feeling good going into the series with Arkansas this weekend.

If we get rained out tomorrow, I wonder if we'll play a DH Saturday or just play Friday-Sunday. The latter makes more sense, but I know college baseball travel rules can be kinda funky and Arkansas might have something that requires them to sail home Saturday if at all possible.

With the way the weather is supposed to be tomorrow, I'll probably wait until this weekend to go.

Yeah can't blame anyone with this weather, but it looks embarrassing. We've usually played from behind this season it seems like

Bats gotta get going, defense needs to step it up. Down 2-0 in the 5th for anyone not watching

3-1 final. They showed grit those last two innings, hopefully that will get them to start out right the next two games

How many times have we been shutout this season? Shutout once again yesterday. We're up 5-0 currently in the 7th.

Alabama wins 5-0.Turnbull has gone 29 plus innings without giving up a run.We had to get at least 1 win this weekend and we did.We should get 2 wins in the mid-week and then hopefully get 1 or 2 next weekend.

The 2nd half of this season is tough, we're at ole miss this weekend, then we get LSU at home. Still have Vandy and state who will be very tough. If we could somehow take two of those series. Been impressed with their progress from last year. One more win and we match last years total.

Tidesports/Tuscaloosa news has an interesting article on our crappy stadium. I thought it was a good read. Here's a couple of quotes and the link to the full story.
quote:

"Having a baseball facility that is competitive with our peers is a priority for us," Battle told The Tuscaloosa News.

quote:

"We will consider all options, but I don't want to speculate on a specific direction at this time," he said. "I can assure you that the options we are considering will allow us to have a facility that is on par with our peers.

quote:

"I don't want to speculate on a timetable. However, we know that the longer the process takes, the more competitive the marketplace becomes."

Gaspard and staff had been showing renderings to potential recruits about a new facility. Even rumors of where it would be located were going around. Yet, these quotes from Battle sound like this is just being brought to the table.
