Pitiful baserunning. Neal on 3b thrown out at HP on a grounder to 3b.
1st out of the inning.

Appreciate JJ keeping the team together after the Bohannon fiasco but it's time for him to go. He's not a good pitching coach.

No elite arms to work with. Most of them work behind in the counts and that’s going to catch up to a pitcher sooner or later. Their ball to strike ratio sucks for the most part. Got to stay ahead in the count!

Disappointing to say the least. Getting less than 6 combined innings from the starting pitchers put us behind the 8 ball to say the least. Hitting…. Inconsistent throughout the series - six straight pop ups to end game 3. Biggest positive of a disappointing weekend was not getting swept on the road (something we used to dream about).

Keeping it in perspective, Tennessee (at home) run ruled (one conference win) Texas A&M on Friday 10-0. A&M won both games Saturday (9-3 and 17-6). :heartemoji:

A tough midweek coming up against Southern Miss Tuesday and then the next conference series against Mississippi State. Would be ideal to go 4-0 in this stretch

Bobby had a good outing against A&M but it might be time to try somebody else in the Sunday slot.

Finateri is my guess.

Agree. Time to give someone else a shot on Sunday besides Alcock. Finateri or Blackwood either may be an improvement

I don't think it is time for this step. Our Friday guy, Adams, has been pretty dominant. Even beating Tennessee. Quick is 50% improved over where he was two years ago. He now has something of an off-speed offering that he threw with some success against Auburn. Ozmer is filthy. We have other guys in the pen who are doing pretty well also.

I haven't watched things super closely as far as other teams, but looking at Auburn's record and stats alone they swing the bat pretty well. They score a lot of runs. Zane Adams had a bit of an off night Friday and let them jump on him. But, I would take that match up any day. Quick got his win. Alcock struggled, and could possibly get moved to the pen. We will see.

I would like to see what Jackson can do with some really good arms. I'm talking guys that are already pretty polished - good fastballs with command, A -A+ secondary stuff. The kinds of arms that LSU and Tennessee are getting and now Georgia has. Lately we have had some guys who throw hard but they get injured, or they are a project of sorts.

After being on the receiving end of a sweep last weekend Vandy bounces back with a sweep of rival Florida to get back on track.

Gators meanwhile are 1-11 now, a program worst.
