Baseball is interesting. Big nights almost never carry over. In fact they seem to be the worst thing. Don’t be surprised to see Arbrun really struggle to score the rest of the weekend.

I know this might be a dumb question but are the torpedo bats the Yankees and some other MLB teams are using allowed at the college level?

Due to forecasted inclement weather for tomorrow, Alabama (26-5, 6-4 SEC) and Auburn (21-9, 5-5 SEC) will conclude their series today at Plainsman Park with a DH. Game times are at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
Riley Quick and Bobby Alcock get the Tide starts.

Probably, as most leagues just have general bat guidelines. They would have to conform to BBCOR guidelines, which would mean a lot of testing along side of the time and effort to craft torpedo bats in the composites that are required. I don't know how easy they would be to make.
*BBCOR is a standard of limiting how much bounce is in a bat. If you recall the old "Gorilla ball" days. Those bats were super bouncy and balls flew out of the park. It was determined that these super bouncy bats were dangerous to defensive players, as balls came off too fast. Newer composite bats react more closely to wood.
Since torpedoes are so new they won't make it down to lower levels of play for at least another year. Likely, they will be tried by younger players in the wooden bat leagues, but I seriously doubt we would see any in college ball this year.
That's my opinion.

I member maybe Bohannons first or 2nd year. We opened conference play by dropping 20 on Arkansas (I think they were #1 at the time). We then proceeded to lose the series.
Baseball just be funny like that some times.
Edit: It was 2021. We won game 1 16-1 and then proceeded to score two more runs the entire series.
