I don't even think you can retrospectively say that either. I believe we all knew from seeing him in the local coverage out of Birmingham that he was an absolute stud. I just wonder if we could have matched dollars if we wanted to though.

Yeah that’s what I don’t know. I’m curious if what we gave those 4 would’ve lured him.
I assume Jalil and TBB got a healthy bag and Noah something decent and Bristow was bargain shopping.
I don’t know if what all 4 of them got would’ve beat Michigan’s offer. I was more happy to get Jalil when it happened but it wasn’t exactly a need with our guard depth.

Supposedly Michigan offer was $3mm, so probably only gets you to half.

I think our portal strategy was "find complimentary players" because we felt that our best path to an elite team was to lockup Philon (if he didn't get his desired draft grade), Holloway, and Sherrell.
I imagine we may have had Yaxel money if Philon got a reliable 1st round grade. However, I'm not sure trading Philon for Yaxel results in a better team to be quite frank.

Beat top 25 Ark and go down 2 spots in Kenpom. Beat LSU and move up 1. 
and why did we get a tech in the shoving incident? Nobody in crimson touched anyone. Plus, the LSU guy initially shouldn't be messing with the ball after it goes through the net. Should have been a tech on LSU and a warning regarding leaving the ball alone. Absurd. Don't want to make anyone too mad I guess?

I don't like bashing refs but Pat Adams fricks us repeatedly. Shows is an upgrade and that's hard to type.

Pat Adams is from Mobile and went to school in Northern Louisiana. I'd almost bet money that many hates the Alabama schools.

There is a 3 way tie for the second seed. Bama is 1-1 vs those teams. We still have to play UT again but at the moment who would be the 2 seed.
