He was good not great before the injury imo. Some people are really down on him but I thought he was a solid backer in 2023.

Wrong. Lawson has never been good. Had Campbell to cover him who is a monster for the Eagles now. Lawson looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane

I thought he was a better football player than Jihad last season. Jihad made a lot of plays because he’s a freak athlete, but he was slow reading the plays and out of position a ton.

Defense held Mizzu to 10 at the half and they had a week off to scheme. The only reason it isn't 20-7 or 24-7 is because Grubbs tried to go for the homerun on the last possession. Sometimes he and Ty try to get too cute. We still look good and have weathered the opening storm.

I know we played decent. It’s just insanely annoying how many opportunities we squandered. If we could convert on some easy turnovers shite we might be up closer to 31-7
