Yeah sometimes I have to backup a little bit and remember where we were just 6 years ago. Really puts this incredible run in perspective

Oh, I agree. I was earlier just pointing out some nit picky things.
But, truth be told, I was always extremely disappointed in our overall efforts over the past few decades until 2020,
We were arguably the 2nd best program in SEC history until the 1990s. But for 20 years , we more or less floundered around being middle of the pack or worse.
WE could have done much better. Especially around the 2010 time from when all the SEC was down

We are actually Blue Collar this year. Last years team loses the Houston and A&M games.

I think we can go into Knoxville and frick Tennessee up!!

Remember when we used to rationalize that's we could make the tournament if we won 20 games and if we didn't make be hoping for a deep run on the NIT? Now we know we we're going to win 20 games, we know we are making the tournament, we know coaches and teams are terrified of us, and we know we are the toast of the SEC and it was such a quick turnaround.

Long live Herb Jones, the catalyst of the change. If not for his leadership and buying in and making others buy in, Oats style may not have worked. Dude is the most important player in Bama basketball history and I'm dying on that hill

Herb Jones is one of the best players in Bama basketball history regardless. He's basically synonymous with locked down defense in the NBA.

He has got to have the single season record for blue collar points. Herb is the man.

I hope the Pelicans move him to a serious franchise when they inevitably blow up their current roster. I hate that him and Miller both went to small markets that are synonymous with failure and incompetence.

As a Pels fan, please don’t. He is the only player that city loves

SEC refs?

There are no "SEC refs". Referees are NCAA refs, they can referee any conferences' games. I do think they generally will stay regionally, so it may seem like the refs are just for the SEC.
