My HS team is in 5a and playing in the Mobile area tomorrow. Going to be tough to beat St Paul at their place.

Briarwood defeated Chilton 4-3 in walk off fashion to earn the final spot in the 5A bracket. Sylacauga will host Briarwood Friday, 5/10 at 11am and 2pm. The 3rd game, if needed, would be played Saturday at 12pm. They are attempting to try and beat the rain that is headed this way. This marks the first time since 03 that Sylacauga has advanced into the Semifinal round.

Hearing some bad things about Sipsey Valley. Apparently did not tarp the field yesterday knowing a monsoon was coming (ace would be available Monday).
Today they’re up 7-4 in the 6th and Mobile Christian gets runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.
Rain comes and they only tarp home and the mound.
Game gets called in the 6th and Sipsey Valley advances to the championship.
If I was the coach for MC I would be raising ever loving hell and probably keep my team in Tuscaloosa for the night.

McGill just beat Bob Jones. BJ is the best high school hitting team I have ever seen! Rose ended up DH in the series.
