I believe this defense has the potential to be great but they won't achieve such under Golding. Golding still isn't quite ready for this level of football. We have more accomplished defensive analysts and defensive assistants than our defensive coordinator.

There’s a great dc on staff already. Hire Strong and be done with this.

Then let him run his 4-3 and be done with it.

Most old 4-3 coaches are running the 4-2-5 these days anyway.

Strings been doing this long enough that I’m sure he could adjust plus I thought he ran a
3-3-5? Maybe I’m wrong though.

We had the chance to hire Odom. Arkansas’s defense won them their first SEC game in forever tonight and have looked very good this year.

Saban doesn’t have infinite years left. Wasting 2 years on Golding is a mistake. I say we move on now and promote an interim. They couldn’t be worse.

Im pretty sure Muschamp will be available soon. I think it would be a home run DC hire.

Any oustanding coach can adapt. Hasn't Saban?

What I saw yesterday was players missing their assignments. It was more of Mental mistakes from younger players. Wright had so many bonehead moments yesterday and there isn't anyone better than him. We just have to keep playing through it and get better. WE have to remember the day of defense having shutouts is over. It is what it is.

Mond and company were on the field for almost 38 minutes of the game. They never saw a 3rd down they didn't like all day, going 11-17. They threw for 335 yards and rushed for 115. That ain't getting off the field.

Yeah I didn’t think the defense was that bad yesterday. Most of the problems were blown assignments by the young safeties, though Moses was the culprit a couple of times.

And on top of that we fricking didn't have spring camp! Mistakes that was made in the game is something that normally happen in spring camp so that can be corrected.

Everyone keep forgetting that. Only issue I have right now is Wright. I'm not sure if I want him starting going forward or not.

I dont think they will have a choice. If not the GA game last year, he might not have been retained. 0-2 out of the gate, TN was a must win I think. Obviously FL is a solid team but this is year 4 or 5 I think and he hasnt won anything and showing he cant compete. All sec schedule wont do him any favors as well. I think he knows hes done and will just be mailing it in with one more loss. If he loses to KY he might not make it through the post game conference lol

Did you watch Georgia’s defense yesterday? Do you think there is any way in hell we hold the barn to 6 pts? I’m betting it will take 40 pts to win the IB this year.

Sorry to all those saying it was young players making mistakes. Our LB core aren’t Freshmen. Pete has to go.

Yes, I did... This is Auburn we're talking about right here. The same team that has now lost seven straight at Sanford Stadium and 13 out of 16 to Georgia. I'm willing to go on record that Georgia will shite the bed in next two weeks. Now, we have Ole Miss coming up and Kiffin gonna stress the hell out of our defense. Then we have Georgia that is very physical on Defense. You are being simple minded when Secondary has been a concern and Saban and others has been saying it since April.

Auburn always play us last so by then they usually got their shite together by the time they play us.

I never said anything about LB being young. They played well yesterday. It's the Secondary who keep screwing up. Young players back there with little to no experience. Chill out.
