Huh? He wasn’t recruited by CKD and maybe just didn’t want to play for him.
Only question I want CKD to answer is why he didn’t give Simpson a chance in the bowl game when Milroe was shitting the bed. Worse thing that happens is we still lose and Ty gets some reps.

I think Seth was an All-American too this year. I thought Fowler mentioned that during the OSU game. What blew me away was he also said that Downs was a consensus A-A as a Sophomore; something which is extremely rare. Big gain for OSU and certainly a huge loss for us. Saban was so right in his praise for Downs.

I heard Saban say that it was the 1st time he'd ever had to run "clap drills" for the QB and center....honestly!

It served him well.
It made me a little happy to see him smoking a cigar on the sideline when OSU beat Tennessee. Through it all, he must have still had some positive feelings about Bama to want to do that.
