between Bear and Nick with a decent 4 year run by Gene in early 90s.
Everyone thinking BAMA's is going to immediately hire the next Bear or Nick is just setting themselves up for disappointment.
Even if we hired Lanning or Day tomorrow, the chances of them going on a run like Saban are less than 10%.
Some of you need to start living in reality and give CKD a chance.

Nobody will ever go on another run like Saban with today’s NIL environment.
50 year old Nick Saban would not go on a “Saban run” in today’s version of CFB.

No one is expecting Saban 2.0
But losing 4 games as 2 score favorites in 14 games is something else entirely

What a terrible post. No one expects Saban like dominance immediately. But this staff is 5-5 in the last ten games and the losses were all asskickings where Alabama was the betting favorite. DeBoer will be out if we lose to Vandy at home.

Good Lord. No one is asking for a run like Saban. It’s not happening. We want competent competitive football. There’s NEVER an excuse for Alabama football to be 5-5 over a ten game stretch. If DeBoer can’t figure that out then he is far more clueless than he looks on the sideline.

Saban 2.0 is impossible, but Dubose 2.0 is inexcusable and that’s exactly what we have. At least Dubose won an SEC title and made it 4 years.
