Wasn't this last offseason, though?
I imagine Roach wouldn't hold much sway now that DeBoer and staff have been in Tuscaloosa for a year.

So, we as fans either continue to complain about Roach as a coach and marginal recruiter, or we let the potential roster loss hold us hostage. We fricked!!!

Safe to say tv ratings weren't a factor at all with the committee.
Bama at Penn St or especially Notre Dame would have been HUGE. SMU at Penn St has the feel of a September Bama game vs Western Kentucky. Of course, it might be a decent game since both teams are barely decent.

Man I don’t know. He said it today and said that if you look at the development of some of the guys like Tim Keenan who was a three star he’s done a good job. He says that Bama just has missed in DL recruiting the last few cycles. He says we have solid players that can do their job but no game changers in the DL outside of maybe Smith.

So what kind of player are we wiling to pay an astronomical amount for? Kinda getting old hearing this shite while everyone around us spends what it takes to be competitive now. Seems like the only player we’ve been willing to spend on is our own player who held us hostage.

This is going to sound like I’m being a dick and I’m not. How much are you contributing to the NiL for Alabama? My point is people always want to tell those that fund everything exactly how they should be spending their money. Unless you’re contributing a large portion of your income to the cause then all you can do is sit back and be thankful to what they’re contributing or find a new hobby. Thats where im at. I’m not paying a dime to this because I have my own life issues to deal with so im either gonna come to terms with it or like I said yesterday decide its not worth my time, I don’t like it and quit following it all together until the product matches what I determine is with my time.
