But what I do know is large factions of the Alabama fanbase for years have taken alot of chuckles and pride in the belief or idea Saban was doing it to lsu.
Now that it supposedly happened to Saban, the narrative immediately went to this. "Gilbert got over over on the recruiting services, good for him". despite the fact that Alabama's demigod of recruiting (Tim Watts) had him going to bammie. And everyone knows that Tim Watts guy gets all his shite from "Alabama insiders". So it was obvious somebody in the Gilbert family was telling Nick Saban he was headed to Tuscaloosa.
It's much easier for this fanbase to reconcile with the idea that a recruit would frick over a so called "recruiting expert" before he would the GOAT.
We'll see if Jackson's pulling the same shite.

There's some smoke about Burroughs signing with uga tomorrow as a surprise recruit by some uga posters on bol. I guess its time to let the signing day madness begin. Dont know if there is any truth to it so tifwiw

The only way he signs with them is if he is on the Nadab Joseph plan. No need to believe anything you read on the UGA boards today and tomorrow.
