Pouncey would have already committed to Bama if we were willing to take his brother (who can't play dead in a low budget Western). But, as is the norm with CNS, we're unwilling to do a package deal when the 2nd guy is dead weight.

Reading tea leaves LSU tried their best shot with Kennedy but is expected to stick with the Tide.

Phillip Webb -- 2 new LSU CBs (UF & FSU mods). OVs: UF 11/29, AU 12/6, UA 12/13. Signing early.

ETA: Another LSU CB from an AU mod on 12/3.

"Nick Saban and Steve Sarkisian are expected out to see Bryce Young and his family tomorrow (Tuesday) in California, according to Young's dad. He tells me they're also working on visiting UA one of the next two weekends (to help recruit other visitors) with his own season now wrapped up. Young plans to sign early and enroll at UA following the All-American Bowl." -- TW

ETA: During the Dec 1-14 Contact Period, Bama staff will be out visiting all commits and top targets. As HC, Saban is limited to one in-home per recruit, so he'll only visit those signing early or deciding before the 12/16-01/16 dead period ends; e.g., All-American game announcements.

What position do we expect Drew Sanders to end up at? I think he can be a big time player.

Bama recruited Sanders to play defense (OLB); key reason he flipped; OU recruited him as a TE.

Glad to hear that on Young. Thanks for posting . Goes without saying how bad we need him in this class

He'll start at linebacker, but I'd bet anything that he ends up at TE

That's good. Should be a good fit then. Hopefully we can put him in a set to pressure the QB.

That’s some good news right there. Hopefully, we can get him to visit the same time as the WRs we are after to close the deal. Kind of like Tua and Najee.

I still remember the conversations about sending someone to Birmingham to see if he got off the place with Tua. Fun times. Fun times.

Maybe. Sanders has great FB IQ and ball skills. He can probably handle playing more than one position well in college, such as OLB primarily and some TE too. He even plays QB some in HS.

Chris doesn't look healthy. I am no doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once.

Good to see Young move up. Really hope he can help recruit us some receivers (Smith, Henderson, Jarrett, or Boutte)
