Seems like it would be awkward to not fire him now after this unless they come out publicly ASAP in his support

"Also on another Bama note, there is talk that Clemson is out for Jordan Burch with the same talk having South Carolina trending, with LSU also feeling confident. I have not heard any real buzz about Burch and Bama up to this point. But that is a very quiet situation by design." -- TW

Burch is one of those players this cycle like Q Crouch was last cycle. Rated very high but not a lot of programs pushing hard for him. Especially considering he is a 5 star.

Any word on what tim watts or hank have to say about Kennedy?

They'll be checking up on the Demouy Kennedy situation asap following his LSU visit.

Thanks. I Really want to hold onto Kennedy. Think he could play next year if he knows defense. Incredible athlete

The jayson Jones kid is bama letting him go ?? I live in the area a lot of noise of him not signing with bama.

Not trying to talk bad about the kid at all but I’ve seen him play a couple times and I almost forget he played for Calera. Dude is massive tho

He started out as a 5 star in his class and has plummeted the last 2 years. Heard we've cooled on him a lot and we've also apparently told him we want him as an o-lineman and he doesn't want to play there. Most think he ends up at Georgia Tech.

From Nov-11 post: Jayson Jones isn't listed as signing early, but he still might. He has an OL spot at Bama (that's his best fit) if he wants it. He'd said he prefers DL and was expected to decommit. However, he's been visiting Bama often and may be trending toward sticking and playing OL. We'll see.

4-star CB Ethan Pouncey

I'm wondering if Bama might try to flip this guy:

Aren't they like the second set of brothers named Pouncey to play for Florida? Maurice Pouncey and his brother.

Yep. Gators fan said (SECRB post) the two sets of Pouncey brothers are distant cousins.

Do you know if bama really wanted him before he committed?

Bama3714 recently said Pouncey is the top CB on Bama's board. But, I don't think we were really in it. Saban doesn't do package deals. No Bama visit plans. It appears to me the "duo flips" from Texas to Florida might've been prearranged.

Good, that's a misevaluation on Clemson's part. Hope we've got the press on this guy.
