Neither is a surpise. Both were already long shots at best for Bama. Ricks has extended family in LA, and parents poised to relocate to BR. There's been chatter that Guillory was already a "silent" commit to LSU.

Oh boy. Best ever. Ok. Let’s see if you can keep Joe Brady. And Burrow is out the door. I don’t think King (Houston transfer) or Brennon will be the answer.

I’m getting a little nervous that O has a trick up his sleeve.. on the QB end. I said it before and will say it again. Hope I’m very wrong

Brennan isn't the answer which is why LSU is looking at Gateway and King. And, King athletically makes Burrow looks like dog shite. King is the only QB I can recall playing Power 5 football to return kicks and he did it well.

The recruits at TE and WR that LSU has committed aren't going there to catch passes from Brennan. Hell, Brennan doesn't fit the LSU offense skill set-wise.

I’m not saying it’s Young.. I know Gilbert, Ricks, and them are trying to flip him.. but I don’t see it happening. If you ask if it could happen..Yes. It’s recruiting. Coach O’s comments about beating our arse in recruiting.. did raise an eyebrow. He has a trick up his sleeve.. I’m not sure who but he has a QB.. either transfer or recruit that we don’t know about yet. I can promise that much

Just to commit when I’m ready... “It is what it is,” Cohen said of his Tigers pledge. “I’ve got like a month to think it all out. I am interested in both.”
ETA: Cohen will return for the WCU game plus his OV on Dec 6 and is signing early. Pretty good chances he'll flip -- per Tim Watts on 11/12.

Saban won’t play.. Dean was proof of it. Expect us to lose a lot more of these battles. These kids wanna get paid and they feel entitled to get paid. NCAA can’t do a damn thing about it either.. LSU figured that out in basketball. We won’t go all in again until Saban retires and we hit rock bottom. This was the only thing that could derail the dynasty and I don’t see Saban overcoming it. He is not a cheater despite what other people say. Sure we have a few boosters that go rogue but nothing on the large scale that’s happening with other programs. It’s hard to overcome when the AD and Coach is on board to pay. Too much money in their sport and it’s worth it. Just ask ole miss.. they made a shite ton of cash for 2 years probation. It was worth it in the grand scheme. They were able to upgrade facilities and dump money back into sports.. Which they are back at it too

All it takes for a cheating program to get busted is a disgruntled player who gets paid by a media outlet or competitor's booster to talk. Best for Bama to continue not playing that game.
