Wow. This kid's film is stupid.

Looks better thab Zach Evans and I'm a fan of Evans.

We would be crazy not to press him to commit.

He reminds me of the kid that I wanted last year and he signed with Nebraska

Yes, very similar to Wandale and Keilan. Looks extremely elusive.

Gibbs said he is enjoying his recruitment. “I’m committed to Tech, but I’m taking visits right now,” said Jahmyr (pronounced Juh-Meer). “I’m going to Bama this week, then LSU, Ohio State and Florida.”

Weird no mention of AU for a visit.

Welp. It's official.

I will be out of the country for the LSU, Mississippi State and Western Carolina games.

Meh. Just call in sick for those three weeks.

I know I'm in the minority but if rather have him than Edwards. Don't kill me.

Agree. And his style fits Bama's more finesse offense where a defensive miscalculation can cost the D a TD. Now, even if Najee gets loose, he's only going to gain 20-25. He nor B. Robinson, who IMO is a notch and half below Najee, have the speed or quickness to make a D pay dearly for a gash by the OL. If they can block he and Sanders can be 1-2 next year. K. Robinson can help but he is tiny - wish he would get more opportunity this year. Runs tough for this size.

Agree wholeheartedly. Faster than Josh, though not nearly as physical. Fabulous vision and acceleration.

Jahmyr Gibbs -- 247 has bumped him to (.93 4*) #132 player & #4 APB, but his composite ranking is (.90 4*) #292 player & #8 APB due to Rivals and ESPN. At 5-11/194 he can muscle up 10-15 lbs with it slowing him down.

ETA: Bama staff is going to see Gibbs play before his visit for the UA vs UT game.

Exactly what I was thinking. If we had a smash mouth type of team Edwards would be perfect. I'm surprised Robinson doesn't get more clock. Seems like we have holes out running backs just aren't fast enough to hit the holes.

I'm not going to kill you, but I disagree with you.

Edwards is going to be an animal in college.

Imo, Najee is just too "patient" sometimes. As soon as he sees a crease starting to open, he needs to burst through it instead of looking and waiting for a bigger hole.

ETA: I agree with what Tide or Die87 said below, Najee does seem to be improving on this lately.

We don't have that guy that can break it,, however we have receivers that can take a 3yd pass the distance. I really think trey would have been that perfect 3rd back.

Robinson can break it. I just think they are trying to redshirt him

Do we need one?

I'd prefer a 14 play, 75 yard drive, a la 2009 Alabama, than a 1 play 75 yard run for a TD.

I don't know how Najee still starts. I'm guessing Saban doesn't want to cause any friction with Najee and Tua being BFFs.

It does seem like Najee is getting better tho. There has been less jukes and spins lately.

My brother has coached against him the past 3 years. The kid is unreal.
