Arik Gilbert should be here for Tennessee or Arkansas game...no telling the performance he’ll witness against those duds.

From the Zach Evans thread on the SECRb:

quote:

He said UGA likely moving on from Zach Evans. Dell McGee did go scout him this weekend but guess Kirby not happy with the circumstances and repercussions from the suspension and what it could forecast on college level. Already dealt with attitude and insubordination issues with Brenton Cox and doesn’t want to risk it I guess if we bow out. I suppose UGA could still be in but sounds less likely for sure.

There goes Georgia copying Bama again.

Five 2020 DTs with the most interesting recruitments

quote:

McKinnley Jackson

Contenders: Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M

Recruiting outlook: A former LSU commit, Jackson is making sure he doesn’t make a quick decision again without doing more research. He has visits set with all four of his major contenders and spent plenty of time at each, but right now the team with the momentum is Ole Miss. The Rebels are definitely in the driver’s seat and if they can keep it up they will eventually get him to be a part of this class.

Farrell’s take: Ole Miss has been the team to beat since the summer and that hasn’t changed. He stays in-state and ends up with the Rebels.

4-star D-lineman puts on show for LSU coaches before visiting Alabama

McKinnley Jackson article.

quote:

Jackson, who went directly from the game to Tuscaloosa for his official visit at Alabama, was dominant in a dramatic 24-20 victory over Oak Grove (Miss.). The 6-foot-2½, 310-pound Jackson caused three fumbles, blocked an extra point and dominated the middle of the line all night.

Gilbert needs to go ahead and hop on the train. You get Young and Gilbert hoping on and that could create alot of momentum heading into the last couple of months before ESD.

21 tackles, including 2 tackles for a loss and 2 QB hurries is pretty impressive. But doing all of that while carrying a lunch pail is amazing!

Well if he is a white kid he's probably dependable, has a great work ethic, is more athletic than he looks, smart, a throwback (don't hear that one as much anymore - anything from the past must be evil, especially from a white kid), reliable, has a high football IQ, etc.

Dude what the he'll are you talking about? It's a joke. Every white kid who is decent they say the same thing about. I don't know where you are taking it.
