Hi all. I’ll try to be as concise as possible.

Windows devices:

EDIT: cfbstreams on reddit has moved to https://sportsurge.net. However, as of early September, a few of the other links below are working a bit better. Sportsurge.net seems to still be in beta, as cfbstreams was forced to leave reddit earlier than promised.

After that, your choices become Kodi with certain addons or other websites. Both of these options will enable you to always find a stream, but it sometimes takes a bit of searching and work. I enjoy the hunt, but many don’t. It is what it is.

Kodi:

https://kodi.tv/download (most recent version - Leia. An upgraded version of Kodi, but not all addons work correctly with it.)

https://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/windows/ (older versions for windows)

https://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/ (older versions android)
*For firestick users, you want the 32bit ARM version.

At this moment it’s impossible to say which Kodi addons will be the best choices when the season comes. For sports, there’s always Rising Tides, found here: LINK and Sportowa, found here: LINK. However, many of the addons that have the best HD streams aren't actually sports addons. I will do my best to check out some addons before the season starts and figure out what’s working well on kodi and update this thread. As always, you can use this website https://kodiapps.com/addons-chart as a way to stay current on which addons are working best at the current moment, although the list isn’t sports specific. For replacing Netflix, Seren is considered the best at this moment, but there are several good options.

One more thing regarding Kodi, if you want to use it to watch TV shows and Movies like Netflix, consider purchasing Real Debrid, located here: https://real-debrid.com. It really takes the hassle out of finding links that play, and costs about $18 for 6 months. This also applies to anyone using standalone android apps like CinemaHD and Cyberflix, located below.

Websites: (must use adblocker)
https://sportsbay.org/competition/ncaa-football
https://www.bosscast.net/
https://ncaafstreams.net/
https://gofirstrow.eu/sport/american-football.html
https://www.stream2watch.ws/streaming-television/united-states/ <--AWESOME
https://www.reddit.com/r/LiveTvLinks/ (acestream links)
https://www.livetotal.net/cat/american-football/
https://tvpc.us/channels/?mode=country&cc=183&page=1
https://www.arconaitv.us/ (scroll down for channels – good for CBS)
https://livetv.sx/enx/
https://www.sportrar.tv/
https://cricfree.sc/
https://zunox.live/
https://acestreamchannel.blogspot.com/p/live-stream.html

Android devices: (phones, firesticks, and android boxes)

Kodi: see above links and description

Websites: It's possible to get the above internet links to stream on an android device, but it's difficult. Blocking the ads can be a nightmare.

Standalone apps for live TV:

TVTap - https://tvtap.world (sometimes HD)
Live NetTV - https://www.livenettv.to (sometimes HD)
Mobdro - https://www.mobdro.sc (rarely HD)

Standalone apps to replace Netflix:

Cinema HD - https://cinemaapk.com
CyberFlix - https://cybermedia.cloud/downloads
*Consider real-debrid, described above.

Regarding the comings and goings of similar android apps, save this website. It helps keep track of what’s working and where it’s located: LINK

For android phones, I believe the best browsers are Dolphin Browser or Boat Browser. Just throwing that in there.

Mac/Apple devices:

Phone/AppleTV: I think you'd be better served with a paid service. If anyone has useful info for streaming on these devices over and above the websites mentioned above (and maybe Kodi), please chime in and I'll include it.

If using a Mac computer/laptop, you should be able to use the streaming websites listed above. (Then go buy the 4 things necessary to connect your overpriced machine to your TV! Ha!) Seriously, though, if any Mac person would like to chime in with any info useful for Apple devices, please post it and I'll include it here. I would recommend Firefox over Safari, but if any Mac person has browser recommendations, please let us know.

Kodi: Kodi does indeed install on a Mac computer, although in my experience they never played well together like Kodi does with other OSs. However, it has been a couple of years since I installed Kodi on a Mac for a client, and so perhaps the newer versions of Kodi (Leia and Krypton) work better on a Mac. The Kodi info in the Windows section applies to you for the most part.

If there are any Mac folks out there with useful info to contribute, please chime in and I'll include it. Also, as far as I'm aware, all devices including Apple/Mac should be able to play acestream links, discussed below.

Acestream:

For those folks who like acestream links, here are a few useful places to find links:

LINK

For US folks, a VPN is highly recommended when playing acestream links, as your ISP likely doesn't want you using torrents. Also, to play these links, you'll need Acestream, VLV Player, Kodi, or a browser with the HLS Magic plugin.

Lastly, buy the best internet you can get. If fiber optic is a choice, it's a no brainer.

That’s about all I can think of. I will update with better info as I come across it, and anyone with good info, please chime in. If anyone has questions, fire away. Roll Tide.

USEFUL ARTICLES:

Yeah, sorry. Mac's are great if your priority is security, but after that, they are pretty limited, over-priced machines (both laptops and phones). However, that is purposeful by Apple to force you into their ecosystem, so that they continue to get your dollars.

My OP was obviously about streaming stuff for free, which is quite hard to do from Apple devices. If you are an Apple person, stay true to that and pay more money for paid services.

I personally think Kodi is garbage. But it does run on mac.

All the sites you're linking...what year is it? Aren't we almost all on Chrome? The idea those won't play on Mac is...odd.

The same is true of great products like AceStream and VLC. They work on Mac.

It's just simply not true. Thanks for the advice to check reddit and look into good internet though.

Excellent. If you have info useful for Apple folks, please post it here. Or any other info you feel appropriate. I'll copy your stuff into the OP. That would be great, honestly. Thanks in advance.

This is meant to be a resource, not an argument.

It isn't, but it takes A LOT of work.

It does, but not often well.

I specifically said that those sites ought to play from a Mac computer. This issue is going to be with ad-blocking, and as a non-Mac user, I cannot speak to how to effectively do that on a Mac. I'm sure you can, but again, I'm not a Mac guy.

Regarding Chrome, Google recently announced that they will be disabling the code that facilitates most adblocking, as ads are one of their main sources of revenue. I believe that only Enterprise customers would continue having unblocked ad-blocking. Similarly, Google's admitted 100% tracking of folks using Chrome is quite shocking. If that's your bag, then have at it. It isn't mine, though.

Yes they do, and again, I said that the websites ought to work on a Mac.

SIDENOTE: Regarding acestream and anyone in the US, you should strongly consider a VPN.

This strikes me as a well intentioned thread by someone who doesn't know nearly as much about this as he thinks he does.

Note to any reading it: it's very easy to do all of this on Mac. It's 2019. Congrats on your nice machine. Take it from me, software engineer whose favorite sport to follow is la liga, which requires a lot of illegal streaming to follow. It's no problem at all.

Did you see in my OP where I said this:

Will it make you feel better if I change "may" to "can"? Geez, dude.

Again, this is meant to be a resource, not an argument. If you want any info to be included in the OP, spit it put and I'll include it.

I read all of the post for some reason, yes.

There is a lot of incorrect information in it and the Mac vs. Windows "devices" framing is entirely unnecessary as none of the products listed are proprietary.

God Almighty at the insecurity of Mac folks sometimes!

I've been nice to you and continue to do so. If you want to aid in the resource in the OP for Mac folks, I'm happy to include it. If you just want to bitch, please hurry up and finish.

Dude, I'm trying to give folks a simple resource, and I'm trying to make it usable for folks who may not be experts with computers. I'm also doing it using my own experience, and have invited ANYONE else to contribute and help.

If you want to be part of the solution, have at it. But to this point, you've only bitched and contributed little. Again, I'm sorry your Mac sensibilities were offended. If you want to bang out some info to help Mac folks, I'm happy to include it in the OP and credit you as well.

My apologies. Does your Mac have an HDMI port?

I have lots of devices, all Windows or Android. Linux is great, but I never got into it. I have avoided Windows 10 to the best of my ability, however. I'm using a fresh install of Windows 8 on all my laptops. All our phones are Android, as are the Firesticks and Nvidia shield. I can't recommend that last device enough.
