Coach Oats said at the Tide Pride BBQ last night that they had a 20 minute half scrimmage with the 1's vs. 2's during the day yesterday. Had full referrees etc. Said the score was 50-46 and both teams got over 50 possessions in 20 min. Jahvon quinerly lead all scorers. He was on the second team.

Not really a waxing plus it's Gonzaga, not Furman. Seems like a pretty reasonable game. I'm ready for bball as well.

Hey guys, almost done with offseason sports for the best collegiate sport to start back up.
I have been completely tapped out and haven't been able to keep up with either AU or Bama bball. Hoping someone can give a good long form catch up on where you all stand entering the season
Questions that would be helpful
-Player Roles
- Expected Starters
- Key role players
- Deep bench depth
- Impact freshmen vs development freshmen
Player Progress
- Who is the player whose play sets the tone good/bad?
- Who is going to consistently score?
- Who do you give the ball to in crunchtime?
- Who can you rely on down the stretch?
- Who has improved?
- Who do you expect to disappoint?
Offense
- Will the full transition of the full Oatz N' Hoez offense happen this year?
- What will the offense do well?
- What will the offense struggle with?
- What players fit what Oatz is trying to do? What players are square pegs for a round hole?
Defense
- What style of defense is Oatz going to play? Zone/Man? Opportunistic or strangling?
- Who will replace D. Hall's rim protectoin?
- What type of rebounding team will you be? Will post guys rebound well? Will perimeter players rebound well?

Not gonna answer your whole questionnaire Gene but IMO we will actually be pretty good on Offense. I think it will be Interior defense and rebounding that will hold us back this year.
