What’s the story on Colby Jones? Did he turn us down? Is that why he’s not getting the media pub?
According to his profile he’s still listed as a commitment. Does anybody know why he didn’t sign? Maybe he wasn’t a priority for us at the time, but I wonder if that’s changed.

Someone probably knows more than me, but I don't think we recruited heavily leading up to his commitment. I know we were in touch with him, but at that time we were spending a ton of time on guys like Marjon Beachamp, Daishen Nix, and Nimari Burnett.
Not really sure how the staff feels about him, because I don't see his name mentioned with us at all.

Mane now has 4 CB's to Marquette.
I also don't see us mentioned with him as much anymore either.
Hopefully we keep winning games and start gaining some momentum in recruiting.

The best part about living in Atlanta as a recruiting writer is how easy it is to get out and see a highly ranked prospect on any given night. On Tuesday night, I made the trip over to watch Scoota Henderson, the No. 15 prospect in the 2022 class. The 6-foot-2 combo guard started off a little slow and his team trailed region rival Hiram going into halftime, but Henderson came out cooking in the second half and overtime. He finished with 41 points, but the best part about the performance is how well he shot the ball from three-point range. In the past, his shot has been the knock on him, but by my count he connected on five of his ten attempts from downtown on Tuesday night.
On the recruiting front, Henderson scored offers from most of the high-major programs in the southeast over the past six to eight months such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss. Most recently, Kentucky jumped into the mix and stopped by his school recently for a visit. Look for his recruitment to continue to take off over the next 12 to 18 months as he is no doubt one of the top guards in the 2022 class.

Why him? Keels put on a spectacular two-way performance against a loaded Sierra Canyon team as he scored big on offense and took turns locking up Boston and five-star Ziaire Williams. He's a high level competitor who has become a blueblood target and he's in the conversation for five-star status in 2021.

Anyone else get the feeling that we end up with JD Davison?
Pretty sure Auburn is already out of the mix for him having Sharife Cooper and it's gonna be hard to out-recruit Pettway for him.
I realize Cooper is 2020 and not 2021 but he doesn't seem like a one and done guy to me.

Davidson is a huge Bama fan. Until his recruitment got serious he had Collin as his cover photo on twitter. As long as we keep playing well and make the tournament I think he is ours........but Watford was a huge Bama fan too and he chose the $$$$ so you never know
