Our defense is going to be unreal. Herb Jones is going to be a beast this year. He was smooth last year. This year he has the confidence to go with it. He seemed like "the guy" out there. Mack and Petty should give us more spacing than we had last year. Kira is super quick and smooth, but he may get abused on defense. Avery Jr. bodied him and got by him fairly easily because of it. PG is still the biggest question mark, but my guess is Ingram will be the regular starter at PG throughout the season.
Of note: Stewart asked Rosemond to give him a guy for fans to look out for this season and he said Giddens and Reese. Giddens did look pretty good out there. He even hit a smooth looking post fade away from about 15 feet out.

Nice. I really want Mack to be good. Not only because we’l need that for us to be good, but I’m just so tired of us getting transfers that suck

I wouldn't get excited. The way he tweeted that was kind of misleading. Avery also said this afterwards:

He came here and did an incredible job for us. Obviously, we read what’s in the news and we’re keeping a close eye on it, but at the same time, we’re just focused on getting this team better and that’s all I have to say.

Yeah I saw that afterwards. It still seems like we’re not in the clear yet

Reese
I noticed he is listed 12 pounds lighter then last year, was it obvious he has lost some weight>

Yeah u can tell he lost a little weight. Even one of th coaches mentioned it. He’s playing a lot better than last year too. Tonight he was hitting 3s, fighting for rebounds and being physical, and scoring inside. I don’t think he’ll start, but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if he did

NCAA appears more than willing to just ignore this whole scandal and sweep it under the rug for all programs. They "addressed it" with the new rules and if they wait long enough, it will just become a historical footnote in NCAA basketball
I was thinking Bama would forfeit the season due to ineligibility rules, but I'm changing that. I think NCAA would close the case if Bama gave some token BS self imposed penalty (reduced OVs or recruiting days) + 1 game suspension last year of CS
Technically the process is that if Sexton accepting money Bama by rule would have to officially declare him ineligible and NCAA would reinstate eligibility announced publicly. None of that happened by any indication

If Reese is more athletic than last year, I don't see Riley playing much.

Reese looked way better than Riley last night. I try not to get mad and bash players, but I was having to contain my anger last night watching Riley
he was airballing threes, missing layups, and even tripped and fell when Avery stopped play and had them run a specific play for the crowd. It was a disaster

Reese is going to be a stud for us this year offensively.

We about a 7-10 seed in NCAA tournament IMO. If things break right we could be as good as a 5 IMO.

Gotta hope he's just shaking the rust off because otherwise it's a total waste of a scholarship considering he's already graduated.
