I am honestly amazed we are this close.
1. Petty has not loosened D up
2. We have an opponent who has gotten hot behind the arc
3. The refs are allowing the defense to use their hands out front.
Sexton can't drive easily because of hand checks, no real 3 threat so far and they are hot behind the line.
Overall defense, grit and mental toughness to withstand the small runs Nova has had has kept us in it.
Not sure if that formula will hold up for 40 minutes...best solution is for someone to loosen up Nova's D so we have a chance.

The last 2 weeks are the gametape Avery needs to show teams on how to battle, grind and play aggressive. Every year. This is the standard. We're not doing crazy amazing things, we're just working our arse off and competing every possession.

Just imagine where we will be at the end of the game if just 1 of the 3 things I listed working against us swings to our favor this half?
