LOLOL I went into my class last night at like 7:13 and Alabama was winning...........7-2 I think? It was like 3 minutes into the game.

I got out at halftime and it was 37-18. We scored 11 points in the 1 hour I was away. That's impressive.

I dont even gove a shite....Id start Lawson on Saturday. At least he gives effort.

I think their is/has been some jealousy from Ingram/Key towards Collin this whole season. They probably dont give a shite about the team.

Exactly. We have many fans who are willing to jump up and defend Collin because he's a hell of a player. That doesn't mean he's not harmful to the locker room with some of the things he does. He certainly doesn't lack confidence but again I could see that swagger combined with preferential treatment being an issue with the older guys.

Me and like one other dude on here have been calling for him to get some actual minutes for at least two years. He's a better player than just a walk-on, garbage time, last 40 seconds kind of guy. Although Jr. has played above my expectations lately, I think Lawson is as good or better. I like the way he runs the offense.

I really want to caution everyone from dog piling on Sexton. Like I said, he’s an easy target and I think people inside & outside of the program will blame him in attempt to cover for deeper issues we are facing.

Not saying Sexton is a Boy Scout and the ultimate teammate, but I believe there are bigger contributors to our problems right now.

I jump up and defend him because of things like this. Not that his action was preferable or correct, but that the fact that those actions come out of a deep and burning desire to compete and win.

Frankly it's a lot like a guy like Baker Mayfield or Jonny Manziel. Those guys did things that were over the top and should have been toned down, but they did them because they lost control of their intense competitive spirit.

Like I said before, I'll take 12 of those guys and go to war anyday. Our program has been filled with meek, shy players who cowered in the corner when things got difficult for 20 frickin years. We need an influx of guys who don't give a shite who they are playing, what the score is or whether they are expected to play well. We need guys whose sole purpose in life is to beat and humiliate the guy across from him for 40 minutes.

Collin is one of those guys. I'll take a few bad moments for the nonstop intensity and competitive spirit he brings. And if other guys have a problem with that then they are the problem.

As Coach Saban says, "Mediocre people hate high achievers".

I have zero behind the scenes access, but I don't see any preferential treatment for Collin. I see him getting sat early when he fricks up, I see him getting chewed. I just see him reacting totally differently than most of the guys. He's still involved in the game when sitting. He was the teams biggest cheerleader when he was out for a couple of games.

The consensus from the fans seems to be that Ingram has issue with Sexton. It's on the coach to manage the personalities and egos on a team. Avery isn't good at doing that.

If we had football players that drew attention to themselves the way Collin does, Saban would have them on the bench real quick. His antics don't benefit the team and in the end, no matter how competitive he is, they don't generate energy for those around him.

I think Avery has more issues than just one or two players not getting along.

Coach Saban would have found a way to separate those actions and keep the competitive fire. There is a reason Saban had effusive praise for Manziel and his competitiveness. That doesn't mean Saban would have accepted Manziel's antics, but it means there is something there that you can't teach or make someone do - and Saban knows that. So, again, that falls on Avery. And Saban has had kids do things like Collin does, and he's found a way to harness that (for the most part) while not dampening the competitive fire of the player.

Did you watch Tony Brown? Ronnie Harrison? Ryan Anderson his first few years?

Again, I'll take Collin's overall attitude and demeanor over everybody else in our program every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Fans just look for these things because they want an easy answer. If I had to pick one guy on the team that seemed like was closest to being "friends" with Collin, I'd pick Dazon.

Ingram probably IS frustrated. With losing and not playing well. People remember that quote about him not considering coming off the bench, and that's mostly what they're basing this on. But, I really think that quote was taken out of context or Ingram misunderstood exactly what he was being asked. I have no problem with him other than it seems like he sometimes doesn't know how to play, and that's as much on the coaches as him.

I didn't watch Tony Brown because Saban had him on the bench until he learned to control himself and stay out of Saban's doghouse.

Looking at Next year I would tell Ingram and Key to GTFO. I would look for Grad Transfers....that Can shoot.

Whatever the reasons are for any internal or locker room issues, whoever is to blame, the end of the story is that Avery is responsible for managing that and being the Alpha Dog.

Ronnie Harrison?

Point is - Saban did demand those things be controlled. He also looks for and covets the hell out of the place inside where it comes from.
