I have no clue who that guy is but if he’s right then this should be an easy decision for Byrne.
Clearly something happened internally with this team. That’s the only explanation that makes sense.

You'd figure if anything a former NBA coach could do is handle egos of his players and not pump up the "stars" of the team.
I'm readyto move on from him. Can we try to get Gregg Marshall again?

Let’s transfer out Avery instead.

Well I know Petty shouldn't complain. He gets shots and bricks the ever living frick out of them. Anyone else that complains should learn how to not turn the damn ball over

Buzz Williams- Va Tech, Mick Cronin-Cincy, Steve Forbes-ETSU, Dan Hurley-URI, Chris Mack-Xavier, Kermit Davis-MTSU, Eric Musselman-Nevada, Randy Bennett-St. Mary's.
Take your pick. Some might say no, some would probably be bust, some would be great. What we DO know is what we have won't work. Time for a change. And money talks. We could pay almost every person on that list exactly what we are paying Avery and they would be getting a big raise.

Geez, something else to be concerned about now. I coujd see Avery being partial as an NBA guard to a future guard in NBA. Hope that is not the case but will be a shiteshow if what he says comes to fruition

How much can we throw at Miami's coach?

Just once in my life I'd like to hear a commentator say, "Boy Alabama really tore up that zone defense tonight."

Instead of hearing, "The defense is going zone. We all know this won't end well for Bama. We are now taking you to reruns of Puppy Bowls II-V"

If Sexton is getting special attention then that's on Avery. Collin is the only one who seems to care about winning , never see him sulking. If anything he's always encouraging guys

Just finished watching the game, I had a date tonight and recorded the game. shite that was some of the worse basketball I've seen on any level.
4-30 shooting for a half? How many turnovers did we have again? No excuses for that kind of play.
I agree with what someone said earlier, there needs to be a complete overhaul of the program. Everyone right down to the guy cleaning the shitters in the locker room needs to go.

Collin is about the only one who isn't a walk-on who is actually cheering other guys on and encouraging them.

I don't buy it either. Sexton has seemed like a team player from day one. His body language is never negative toward his team. I don't think it's an issue with Sextons character.

we're doing it.... we're actually doing it. A solid seed in the tourney and we're actually going to lose out and flush it away.

Avery is the biggest sunshine pumper of them all
here’s one of the quotes that bothered me tonight
quote:
Avery Johnson on where the team goes from here: “I know these two losses at home has hurt the resume, but the world is not coming to an end for Alabama basketball.”

I mean, what the hell is he supposed to say.
It's not the end. We have to make a deep run in the tourney and we're back in business.
There's not a snowball chance in hell that happens in reality but it's... physically/theoretically feasible.
I mean, I suppose he could have gone to the microphone and said

Spitballing on the team chemistry thoughts...
Did we have a player early in the season that stated he would not accept coming off the bench?
If so, in hindsight that may have been a significant red flag. That attitude is never acceptable.

Its not that he said it this one time. The thing that bothers me is he says the same “coach talk” every time. He’s like Butch Jones. He gets up there and says what people wanna hear. He doesn’t say what needs to be said. He seems to just blow it off and be care-free
