Bill Walton is a fricking tool. Why do they continue to put him on tv? He babbles about some crazy shite.

I would be satisfied with making the tournament this year if I thought there was upside left going forward. I’m not sure there is. Matter of fact, I doubt it now. Youth or not, this is the most talented rotation we will have for the foreseeable future and we’re struggling to reach .500 in the league and get in the Dance. That is not an acceptable ceiling for Bama basketball.

Last 6 minutes of the game Auburn made clutch shot after clutch shot

I actually love Walton, but I'm also a pretty big pot head

Where in the hell is Bamfan15? If he's pissed off at Avery then you know it's bad He normally tries to stay level headed and positive
I was inside of that fricking airplane hangar in Tuscaloosa watching an inferior team tap our cheeks in our own fricking arena. If Avery misses the tourney, that’s 2 failed seasons so far out of 3. Year 1 was a rebuilding year and we made the NIT which was good for the talent we had. Year 2 he brings in a couple players he wants and Avery makes the team shirts that say “The Big Dance” or some BS like that. So in other words the goal for the team was the tourney and we missed it. Then this year he’s trying his best to miss it again.

Avery Johnson is a mediocre coach. Not terrible, but not very good. If he misses the tourney, I want him gone.

I feel like I should amend some things to avoid misunderstanding from people. Mediocrity should never be acceptable at this university...We all love and support it. That being said Gottfried had a talented freshman class in 2000 and they finished 13-16, 2 years later they were sec championship and were a #2 seed, although it ended in disappointing fashion. It took him 4, maybe 5 years. He wasn't a great tactician either and shut it down after that elite 8 run(which wasn't really due to his great coaching). Whether any of us agree or not this team appears to be solidly in as of now, according to everyone who projects the dance for a living. It's no longer 20 wins and in,we ve challenged ourselves the way the committee requires and in my opinion we re in with one more win. U get in , who knows what could happen. Next year I want to see substantial improvement and hope it happens because AJ has revived alot of aspects in this program. I apologize to any and all of u if I ever seem to have blinders on, this is a great board and all of us have our hearts in the right place I believe.

Yes. Big time. The guy beside me was trashing Sexton calling him a street baller and a ball hog. He said Avery Jr only plays bc of his dad (which is sort of true ), and countless other stuff I can’t remember. I was furious at the team but I held it in

As an aside, it's premature to suggest this is the best roster we ll have for awhile. I'd contend the roster next year could be better. CS has been great for our profile and isn't the typical OAD in attitude or how he conducts himself so his loss isn't a positive, but guys like herb, Reese, and Petty can be the foundation. I believe we ll make the dance and possibly make noise but next year there are no excuses.

I don't have a a problem with you. I just think we have different personalities and views about things. I'm not a patient person and I can be very hot headed. We are all entitled to our opinions.

The only issue I have is when you talk down to people when you don't agree with their opinions. Condescending isn't a good look for anyone. If you disagree with someone just say that. Don't act like you're the only intelligent one in the thread and everyone else is stupid.

I'd disagree with enthusiasm waning in the stands ...6 sellouts don't support that

I was at the game. It damn sure was not a sellout. This is a piss poor product and Avery should be fricking ashamed that our most talented team since the early 2000s is on the verge of losing our way out of the tournament.

I feel like everyone’s goal this year was to be solidly “in” on selection Sunday. There is no possible way to judge this season as anything other than a colossal abortion led by a shitty coach.

Technically it was a sellout tonight, but I was at the game and the arena WAS NOT full. It was a good crowd, but plenty of empty seats. Probably about 12k like most games

Sarcasm might be misinterpreted as condescending, I could easily say I've been talked down to. I'm an open dialogue advocate, never believed in squashing dissenting views. My bad.

It's just depressing. The guys rarely look motivated and that's so frustrating. I just don't understand

Nothing to apologize for. I'm sure there are times that we are all taken the wrong way. It's just a forum and full of guys who need to blow off steam at times. I say shitty things at times and later I might not feel the same way. In the heat of the moment we all can get carried away. I can't condemn anyone for that and I don't want people to stop venting.
