If you want something to flip back and forth with while watching the baseball game Rhode Island plays at St Bonnie tonight on ESPN2 at 7 PM.

Should be a fun one.

Ok guys fair enough. Sorry, didn’t mean to stir up shite with my FBI question, I’m just still paranoid after the 90’s when the NCAA broke more of their own rules than we did in a witch hunt for Bama. We had just enough of a connection to this basketball stuff to make me nervous. It’s high time the NCAA clean up basketball (and Football) from these Nike camps, leagues, tournaments, etc that are nothing more than a cesspool of cheating and buying and selling influence. The FBI is giving the NCAA a gift wrapped opportunity to do something which they will promptly piss away with some finger wagging, a few wrist slaps and some ridiculous rules that don’t solve anything.

They are basically selling the kids. Shoe company works out deal with big name school> We send you great player, you wear my shoes, and we also send money to high profile head coach.

Made some nice jumps since the LSU/Tennessee wins

Up to 30th in RPI

Up to 42nd in ESPN BPI (up 11 spots)

Up to 41st in KenPom

I'm guessing if they did a "Last 10 games" KenPom/BPI we'd be in the Top 25. Those 3-4 ugly games early (La Tech, UCF, Texas, Vandy, Georgia) are a pretty big drag on our performance metrics.

Alright, time to roll out the "if this than that" machine for the stretch run

CURRENT ALABAMA POSITION
Record : 17-9 (8-5)
RPI : 31st
SOS : 12th

Alabama wins out
Record : 22-9 (13-5)
RPI : 14th
SOS : 6th

Alabama wins out other than Auburn (@ Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, @ Texas A&M) and loses road games (@ Auburn)
Record : 21-10 (12-6)
RPI : 18th
SOS : 6th

Alabama wins home games + Kentucky (@ Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida) and loses other road games (@ Auburn, @ Texas A&M)
Record : 20-11 (11-7)
RPI : 21st
SOS : 6th

Alabama wins home games (Arkansas, Florida) and loses road games (@ Kentucky, @ Auburn, @ Texas A&M)
Record : 19-12 (10-8)
RPI : 32nd
SOS : 6th

Alabama only beats Florida or Arkansas (Ark or Fla) and loses road games + Florida/Arky (@ Kentucky, @ Auburn, @ Texas A&M, Ark or Fla)
Record : 18-13 (9-9)
RPI : 45th
SOS : 6th

Alabama loses out
Record : 17-14 (8-10)
RPI : the website literally stopped working, so maybe that is a good thing?

So, I'd say our realistic range is somewhere between 20-11 and RPI of 21 and 18-13 and RPI of 45.

My question is , a psycho walked into a school and shot up alot of people and the FBI is worried about shoe companies? Serious lack of priorities if that's the case.

What?

I’ll sign up to lose the AU game right now if you can guarantee me this.

If that were the finish, what seed would we be looking at even without knowing the results of the SECT?

I'd guess 5-6

I'd say a 4. I feel pretty good about what our seed will be because the team that was higher than everyone expected in the committee's top 16 was Oklahoma who has a lot of Q1 wins. The team that was lower than expected was Michigan State who doesn't have many Q1 wins.

Yea, if that first reveal was any indication of their priorities they care most about SOS and Q1 wins, and those are by far our 2 best selling points.

I would think a 5 seed. That would make it quite a run against all tourney teams. Would likely mean finishing 2nd in the SEC too.
