The only thing we can hope for is Avery gets offered to be top assistant for an NBA job and Byrne encourages him to leave.

Has Cuonzo gotten one and done guys outside of Porter who doesn't really count

I mean, he is a shite coach so none go 1 and done but ESPN (best bball recruiting) top 50 type talent he has brought in

1- Robert Hubs #29 TN
2- Jaylon Brown #4 Cal
3- Ivan Rabb #8 Cal
4- Jeremiah Tillmon #46 MZ

Plus the Porters still could have gone anywhere, any coaching staff w an opening would have hired he dad for those two

Bama just should hire Tom Crean. The guy has experience taking over a tough situation and winning, especially with a big time school

It looks like Anthony Grant's offense.

Glass half full, if Avery doesn’t turn it around I trust Byrne to make a great hire.

Whoever drafts Sexton, should be forced to take Avery as well.

We had no energy today. Don't know the reason,We couldn't defend, shoot or rebound, didn't seem like anybody cared either. Rest of the season will
Be interesting to watch. Will tell us where we are headed. A typical ugly boring SEC game.

Yeah there are some good names on that list. I forgot Robert Hubbs was such a highly ranked guy. Cuonzo has had a bit more success than Avery though.

Watford is a smart guy, and I'd be shocked if he comes here watching these guys. Our offense is miserable.

I think it is bc we are so young it’s taking a little longer to gel but we had a WAYS to go when he got there. At least I got excited about the talent he is bringing in. HOLD THE ROPE!! lol

Tom Crean.

I'd take him tomorrow. Hell, I might meet him at the damn airport and start screaming, " we bowlin' baby" and kiss him on the mouth.

I'd rather get a young guy with a fire. Will Wade type of guy. I wasn't very high on him when he was hired, but as I've learned about his no shite mentality I like him a lot more. We need that.

Eta: I'm having trouble finding a mid major coach I really like right now, so yeah I'd take Crean

Avery should do the rightful thing and leave after this season.

Avery has got to fricking realize this isn't a pro team.He doesn't have guys that consistently hit mid range shots and there's no Tim Duncan.

This is a long fast athletic team. They are at their best running, pressing and scoring in transition .Not in the fricking half court OBVIOUSLY.

Which is why I have no hope for Avery. If you can't see this and can't improve fundamentals you cant coach in college. We look lost a lot of times on inbound plays, end of games etc. no leadership or direction and it sucks.

46 points with this level of talent is inexcusable, even if the team was made up entirely of true Freshmen.

Not referring to just this game but the slower than expected start to the season. They score lots of points some games and are off the next. With the minutes Sexton , pettty and Jones gets it can happen. Plus Ingram will never be confused as a true scorer
