Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack are graduating, and DJ Fluker is most likely headed to the NFL. What are your predictions for the starting offensive line to open the 2013 season against Virginia Tech?

I can only remember a couple of games where they actually showed Cyrus' picture instead of Arie's.

I honestly can't recall a single time he tried to pronounce Cyrus's name. I'm sure he did at the beginning of some games, but I can just imagine the pre-game prep for our first CBS game of the year.

Producer: *hands Verne the rosters*

Verne: Hey Jim, there seems to be a typo here. This isn't a last name.

Producer: No, that's right. K-o-u-a-n-d-j-i-o.

Verne: Oh my.

C.Kouandjio
Steen
Kelly
A.Kouandjio
A.Shepherd

The inside talk about moving Steen over has me wonder what they want to do. I would think you keep the veteran RG there to help the new RT, but I guess instead they want the best 2 on the same side.

LT - Cyrus Kouandjio, Jr. - Hyattsville, Maryland
LG - Arie Kouandjio, rJr - Hyattsville, Maryland
C - Ryan Kelly, rSoph. - West Chester, Ohio
RG - Anthony Steen, rSr. - Lambert, Mississippi
RT - Austin Sheppard, rJr. - Buford, Georgia

Of course, things will change a lot through spring practice and fall camp. We'll see all kinds of lineups experimented with. I only feel that LT, C, and RG are truly set and that isn't concrete.

Issac Luatua will push at LG as will Chad Lindsey at C and LG. There are several choices at RT, including Leon Brown (JuCo transfer) and possibly Laremy Tunsil if he signs. Kellen Williams will also be a senior OL that will push for a job at guard or tackle.

Why do you think fluker will go pro? I think he will stay. He still needs work. If he waits he will be top5 pick when it's time.

I think D.J. Fluker leaves because he's not going to demand a higher pick a year from now. The timing is right. He has his degree and had been a part of some amazing teams.

He doesn't need work. He is never going to have exceptional feet or hands. He has closed out this season doing a decent job against some highly regarded pass rushers though, so his stock probably won't get much higher provided he has a good NCG. Leaving would be a good decision on his part.

Nick Saban hinted at it on his radio show.

Our friends at College Football Talk pass along the word that Saban said on his weekly radio show that junior offensive tackle D.J. Fluker is “a guy who’s probably going to go out for the draft.”
