Guys we were just as loaded last cycle (in some cases like OL even more so) so what makes the 2013 class such raging douches over immediate playing time? It was always a few guys before now every single recruit is like they woke up last week and realized we were talented.

They scurred.

This class feels like a let down without Foster and Nkemdiche, despite all of the talent we're pulling. Probably because last years class could be just as good as our 08 class, and it was followed by a great 09 class.

Just my opinion, but my ten top guys for this class :

1) Robert Nkemdiche

2) Reuben Foster

3) Montravius Adams

4) Laremy Tunsil

5) DeMarcus Walker

6) Dee Liner

7) Vonn Bell

8) Andy Dodd

9) Max Browne

10) Jonathan Allen

For me I was hoping we'd pull 5 of my top 10. Right now it looks like we'll get 3, but hell Dodd may flip on us.

About who?

eta : When I said top I meant the top 10 guys that I wanted Bama to get. Not the 10 best. (Though some of those are some of the best.)

Andy Dodd, a 6'4 325lb 4* OL is visiting LSU this weekend and considering opening his recruitment back up

I hope so because we only had 1 spot left for an OL and this means the top 2 we were still after will be in Crimson next year.

It's still an odd list. You have two Bama commitments on the list. Are you saying you rather have Dodd over any of Bama's other commitments?

Imma be honest I thought Dodd was a steal. You dont find to may guys his size that can move like that. Maybe his teammate from last year can talk to him.

I'd rather have him over most of our commitments yes.

eta : I say most because I feel like Walker has already commited in his head.

Jalen Hurd 2014 Ath, top 50 player nationally, talking about Bama's camp.

quote:

"Alabama has great coaches and a great campus," he said. "I can tell they work hard down there. All schools work hard, but they set the stuff apart to a certain extent. They have some of the best coaches and best coach in NCAA. I mean no disrespect to anyone else, but Coach Saban has set himself apart with his winning and what all he has accomplished."

He has an offer from the Tide (favorite).

no way Andy Dodd is top 10 nationally, he isn't even top 10 at his position.

NVM, just read you meant top 10 guys you wanted.Still makes no sense.

I never said he was. He was one of the top ten guys that I wanted Bama to get. He's vastly underrated.

He's a very solid OL prospect, but no way he's top ten at his position. Let alone nationally.
