Why would anyone worry? We are losing a bunch of drama and UGA or Auburn is getting a migraine.

Eh, we're still set and loaded obviously, but let's not act like the kid wouldn't have been a stud for us.
This came so close to never happening too. Why couldn't he have ended up at Oxford?

It isn't like it matters. His word is completely meaningless. The chances of him flipping again before NSD are pretty good.

Honestly this is pretty natural. His drama fits with dee and carl much more than with the folks in crimson. Even the tj situation was done with much less drama. I think a lot of Saban's recruiting is personality testing and foster's does not fit. None of our lbs were as highly touted as foster, but you cannot question their defication and results.

Bama's LBs are the shite, no doubt.

Like CNS said, if you want to come to alabama you can, if not so be it.
Alabama doesn't need reuben foster, let's make sure thats clear. Want him? absolutely..but they need him like I need herpes.
If he flips we will just have to settle with our measly number 1 ranked recruiting class...again
:sigh:

Meh, he's a great player but it's not like Bama is hurting for LBs. I wish the kid nothing but the best. I hope that he can get healthy and have a lengthy, productive career. He seems like a great kid.
I ain't even mad.

The sad thing is that everybody knows this isnt over after today. No matter what he says. I mean recruiting is a joke now. Look what Bo said the other day he will committ in a couple of weeks then make his final decision at the Under Armour game. WTF is that? shite makes no sense. At the end of the day I think that Reuben while be wearing Crimson just my opinion.

Whats going through your head that makes you say I want to call a press conference anyway. I mean I understand your a 5 star recruit but this recruiting stuff has got out of hand. There seriously needs to be a early signing period for the guys who know where they are going and the guys who just want to have fun and take trips and frick babes.

Yes recruiting is a joke nowadays. A commitment is nothing more than place holder now. These kids get caught up in the moment on every visit... which is why coaches don't want commitments taking visits in the first place. The recruiting sites have turned recruiting into a multi -million dollar soap opera.
I love it.
I love it.

It's the reason CFB needs an early signing period. These kids are way too big for their britches now and act like they are movie stars. People get all up in arms when saban asks a kid to grey shirt but it's no big deal when kids "commit" to a school and sign elsewhere. I'm glad yeldon is at bama but I'd never take his word in a business deal. I was brought up as your word is your bond, that doesn't mean shite to these prima donnas.
They should just change the term altogether. Commit, by definition, is not what happens in recruiting. If you "commit" you should be bound to sign by the NCAA. When they announce where they want to go to school in july it should be, "Team X is my favorite, I will commit when I rule out all other possibilities"

A commitment these days is tantamount to publicly naming a leader. A de-commitment just means that leader has changed.

I'm going to
if the presser is for a decommit only or less.
Posted on 7/12/12 at 10:32 am to Riseupfromtherubble
This makes me think that Bo wont be coming to Bama and if he does his recruitment is going to be exactly like this. He minus well not committ.
