Bozeman has actually known for a few months he was going to grayshirt, not something that was decided recently.

Exactly, I doubt this opens up an additional spot in the sense of being able to take someone extra, it just gives us a little insight into the numbers crunch. The reports of us having 5 (possibly 6) spots available came from sources that already would have had knowledge of the Bozeman situation.

I hope Bozeman goes through with the greyshirt, the last few players Bama wanted to greyshirt signed with other schools on NSD. Would hate to lose him, especially since OL was a need with this class.
