I'm pretty damn satisfied with the 2013 recruiting class. I'm starting to look at the 2014 class a little more. Comments on my initial "wishlist" for next year?

I like it, OT should have several names next year. Prince, Cameron Robinson, Orlando Brown, and Andy Bauer(I think he's All Bama if pushed for). Wouldn't be surprised if FSU jumps in it for Prince with Sunseri's east coast ties.
MY just missed would probably by Ermon Lane or Tyler Luatua. Both have Bama in their top 2 so far, and are 2 of the best overall passcathers for '14.

I tried to balance it on offense and defense, as well as needs. It was difficult to choose an OT. But this list will change a few times after spring recruiting.

Maurice Smith may be taking an "under the radar" official to Texas A&M this weekend. Nothing too terribly alarming but something to be aware of...

It's most certainly a need, especially if Bama doesn't land Tunsil. The positive is that several OTs are looking at Bama for '14, no reason not to land 1.

NG Josh Frazier over Prince.

The ESPN hates LSU conspiracy is probably my favorite. I love it even more than "Birmingham controlled refs." The fact that they seriously believe that ESPN is out to destroy LSU football is just fricking comical.

Thank you for that. Fantastic melts in there. 21-0.

Not that it really matters, but ESPN updated their rankings last Thursday (before TW even visited Bama) not within the last 24 hours as they are claiming

I thought it was rivals that did the "bama bump"....now espn too? Bama is taking over the world.

He would be in a top ten, but I felt OT is a more pressing need for 2014. Especially if Alabama misses on Laremy Tunsil.

That's not too surprising. Kelvin Sumlin made the comment at the BCS title game about letting Texas kids like Damion Square sign with other SEC schools and how they are going to put an end to that. I guess we'll see, but Smith seems pretty enamored with playing for Nick Saban.

Latest update indicates Maurice Smith is no longer planning to visit the Aggies. As Cap recently posted... Maurice's heart is with the tide.
Also, ATP had a great visit and really it it off with Maurice and Tim Williams. The three of them plan on rooming together in Tuscaloosa.

I checked out Dandy's blog, and its a dandy...
And now that I know Tim Williams is the number 11 prospect in state, what the heck is Saban thinking?!!! Amazingly the top 10 are all LSU commits...

With only a few spots remaining in the 2013 class, LSU’s biggest targets remain defensive end Robert Knemdiche (the nation’s top-ranked prospect) and safety Priest Willis.

I always got the sense that most LSU fans sort of embraced him like a crazy old uncle that everyone knew was a huge homer, and indulged him just because he'd been doing it so long and it was sweet. Then he died, and now it's his son carrying on the tradition.
I know it's a double standard, but it's totally different having a cute old man do a homer internet blog vs. a younger guy doing a homer internet blog.
