Jai Miller measured 6-3.5, 220-pounds when he visited #Alabama in December. Will start out at safety. Tremendous athlete, time to develop
That's one big safety

He's the king of, well I knew this information but I couldn't tell you because I was asked to keep it in confidence.
So glad he's gone off of Bamamag, I don't pay money for you to know stuff and not tell.

Whats the story on this guy? He is big.
Posted on 1/4/13 at 1:47 pm to sarc
My buddy from Selma saw him a couple of months ago in a gym and said he was a beast with the weights. Jai is one of the best athletes I've seen up close and I hope he still has most of his athleticism at his age.

I worry about tall safeties, you've truly got to be an amazing athlete to play there that tall.
Hopefully this is an instance

Went baseball out of HS IIRC. He's got to be in his late 20s by now though.

Yeah, he was a 2003 kid... signed with Stanford but was Drafted by the Marlins in 2003. He's 27 and reportedly in great shape.
On a sidenote, this probably nukes any remaining interest Tony Conner had in Bama.

He was a 3 star in basketball and football, signed to play football and baseball with Stanford, but opted for the pros before enrolling in Stanford after being drafted in the 4th round I believe. Here's his Stanford bio:
I doubt this would be on Conner's radar. That said, he's Ole Miss bound.

A Prep All-American from Selma, Alabama who played quarterback in high school, but will be converted to wide receiver at Stanford … Super Prep ranked him as the No. 9 "skill athlete" in the country and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Alabama … Super Prep All-American and All-Dixie selection … Prep Star named him to their All-Southeast team as an athlete and Rivals.com ranked him the No. 16 recruit in the state and the No. 23 receiver prospect in the nation … As a senior, he threw for 1,268 yards and 14 TDs while rushing for 812 yards and seven touchdowns … As a free safety, he had 52 tackles and six interceptions … Named All-Metro and All-Region as a safety … Also starred in basketball and baseball … As a junior in basketball, he averaged 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in basketball … Currently averaging 20 points and 13 rebounds per game … First-Team All-State and All-Metro as a junior … Four-year varsity player in baseball … First-Team All-Metro as a centerfielder during his junior season … Member of the National Honor Society … Father, Quincy Williams, played for the Raiders and his godfather, Tommy Agee, played for the Cowboys.

Bo Scarbrough is pretty much teasing a '13 commit today at the UA AA combine.
Only ones that seem like he has a connection to are Foster, Liner, and James Cox. Cox is unlikely, he knows where Foster will sign though doesn't think Bama will take him back, and then there's Liner.

I assume you mean Liner, but I kind of think he is talking about Reuben and trying to help him out with the "drama" aspect. I'm not really sure how a recruit would be privy to who a coaching staff would and would not take.

I did.
And it is sorta weird that he says he knows where Foster will sign, then says he doesn't think Bama will take him back.
Wouldn't he just say he isn't going to Bama, knowing what he knows? There's no "thinking" if you know...

Could just be that Reuben wants to get back on board but the coaches don't want him anymore. I don't think that is the case though, because they wouldn't still be recruiting him if they didn't want him.
I have a feeling Bo is trolling or trying to help with a little intrigue.

Bo and Tray Matthews have both emphatically said he won't be going to Auburn, which makes it even more curious.

why would he not be eligible if he played no college foot ball

Especially if he was accepted into Stanford.

So Nkemdiche is playing DT in the UA Game instead of DE?
Interdasting.
Maybe the 3-4 DE position is looking more attractive to him now...
