Correction, Dawson will likely not being taking anymore officials.

And from Bone today:

* Cross off Conner, H.Henry, Ramsey, Alexander, and Muhammad.

* No spot of Nate Andrews, so he re-affirmed to Minnesota

*Was told Hill flipped a few weeks ago

*Golson is a backup to Tunsil(leaning to UGA), but they really like him regardless. Only 1 spot, so both aren't possible.

*Liner still expected to flip

*McLeod still expected in January as an EE

*Tim Williams over Kendall Beckwith, but Williams isn't a 100% take.

*Slim chance at Nkemdiche

*Will not have room for A'shawn Robinson

*Staff wants both Matthew Thomas and Monty Adams, will make a run at Thomas on his official(1-11-13). Feels Bama is on the outside looking in on Adams.

*Lot of confusion between analyst regarding Reuben Foster, UGA writer Jake Rowe doesn't believe it will be UGA.

*Foster "reached out" to Saban over the past few days, and will be visiting for the Tulane bb game with his friend Bradley Bozeman. Expects a meeting with Saban in there somewhere.

*Bama leads for Alvin Kamara despite the RB numbers. Great relationship with Smart and will help in '14 with teammate Lorenzo Carter. No date has been set for a decision.

*Bell is expected to commit to Bama after his visits are finished and the only remaining DB the staff plans on taking.

*The aforementioned Official visit date of 1-11-13 will be HUGE. A shade under 20 recruits are expected for that weekend, and that's just official visitors.

Liner, Bell, Tunsil or Golson, Williams or Thomas would be a pretty damn good finish.

As for Reuben, I honestly wish he'd go somewhere like Miami because I'm afraid he'll be more trouble than he's worth but I don't want him in the SEC in case he does pan out.

Per Bone:

quote:

Hill measured 6-foot-7 when he visited Alabama. He didn't report a weight. A source confirmed he was a tad more than 400-pounds. Hill is a physical specimen. He knows he has to shed some weight and report in better shape.

Bucc, Hill should be scared of what Cochran is going to do to him!

Yeah, the whole thing with Dawson is that Michigan pulled his offer for taking visits while committed. So if he reaffirmed then he won't be taking that visit.

He also said that the Staff is feeling good about Tunsil.

I been saying Tunsil to Bama...it's looked iffy at times (and sometimes it's very hard to tell with some UGA recruiting analysts)

I know he is a very impressionable kid so that Jan 11th OV will be HUUUUUGE

Also can't believe I'm saying this, but a few coaches feel like Rueben might end up a part of this clas s (as Mag so eloquently stated above ) just confirming

I'm starting to feel good about Tunsil.

If Reuben's visit to the Bama Basketball game turns into him scheduling an official visit that will be huge news for us in terns of eventually getting him.

I'd love for him to get a look at NG if he can't crack the lineup as an OT. He's fricking huge.

FWIW, someone on BOL just posted that DeMarcus Walker tweeted "Sweet Home Alabama, Roll Tide Roll" a few minutes ago.

Hopefully this puts those OV to Florida rumors to rest.

Y'all do me a favor and venture to the Brandon Hill thread on the SEC Recruiting Board and RA the post RebFeBrees made attacking me personally. It's on page 11. That a-hole made a stupid comment regarding my mother because I discredited the Ole Miss recruiting "guru."

Normally I wouldn't care, but that board is supposed to be free of personal attacks and I did nothing but provide facts regarding one of our commitments.

Will do

Of course, Michael Carvell has jumped on the Brandon Hill "reports". There are very few people in this world that I wish would lose their jobs, but he is at the top of the short list.
