I know Foster is committing when he is so he can focus on his grades the rest of his Senior year.

Jack Del Rio's son Luke is in T-Town visiting...

“I’m pretty familiar with Alabama. I went to their camp as a freshman and sophomore and kind of fell in love with it. My sister goes here and I have a lot of family pretty close to here. I picked up my relationship with Coach Saban and Coach Nuss pretty recently. It’s another great option,” said Del Rio.

With Cooper Bateman and Parker McLeod already in the fold at quarterback, Del Rio says he’d be a preferred walk on at Alabama, adding it’s something he is seriously considering.

Weren't grades part of the issue between Foster and Ohio State?

I wonder if the Massington/Knevel EE spot depends on how things shake out with Brandon Hill

I'd laugh if Bama lands him as a walk on

He's the QB that committed to OSU and completely turned McLeod off from them(he was about to commit), and now they could end up in the same class? And McLeod ends up with a scholarship and Del Rio doesn't? Wow..

I believe so.

I think they could be, but I think they're also waiting on any players that may not be coming back(whether it be to the NFL or otherwise). I think they are doing that right now, if the McCarron announcement isn't just a coincidental happening.

Knevel had his moment stolen... he has committed to Nebraska. Official Announcement Tuesday, but this just confirms what most of us already knew...

I wouldn't mind letting them have Knevel in exchange for Cook. Of course, Cook would probably come running if we gave him the call

Cook now has SEC Offers, UT and Auburn, so I doubt he sticks with Nebraska, regardless of what we do. It would suck to see him at either rival school, Saban tried to get place him, but a kid like that is damn near impossible to hide...

I don't think it's intentional, but they aren't gonna pass up a decent State Champion QB with a good lineage willing to walk on either.

Needs to get off the rug. I know it isn't ropped off like it usually is, but get those shoes off the logo kid. That bad boy is gonna fetch around $20K at action after the season.

You're right Mag, if he's WILLING to WALK-ON, that would be huge, sounds like with his sister already at Bama (had no idea) it might be a little nudge or suttle hints from Mom & Dad to make visiting easier only going to 1 part of the country to see both lol

Also saw an old interview where he actually started as a S when he first started playing & so the old Bear trick to convert the QB to a S might be able to be applied here with him as well

& LOL @ Johnson, are we even RECRUITING HIM?? LOL

If he gets a firm offer fro Auburn and not one from Bama, he'll be an Auburn Tiger.

He really doesn't want to leave home and is only committed to doing so now because it's his best offer.

yah you're right, I just said that because I don't think he'll get an offer, I could be wrong though with pretty much a new staff
