I too thought about what he was thinking. But I doubt it mattered that much to him. Just more of a reason for him to start and be in the spot light.

I did think about messing with him on twitter and sending him a phone number or advertisement for tattoo removals. Lol

Just like the bama fans told him after the switch. "we'll win with you or without you."

I'm sure most everyone wants to play right away, but he's talented enough to do that anywhere unfortunately.

He passed up playing for a well oiled machine to play for a sputtering jalopy...i'm sure at some point saturday night he was thinking, "damn"

Reminds me of a scene from dumb and dumber..if reuben has any close friends they need to
Lloyd--->Harry him. *grabs face* DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU"VE DONE?!

Jonathan Allen is up to 245 and says he will play Jack LB (there had been reports he would play MLB)

Me either.

The thought of him taking over for Jake Holland, as a true freshman, has all Auburn fans excited. I can't wait to see him blowing up people in the hole and making game changing plays like Tray Blackmon used to do.

Will he though? It's evident that understanding the system> talent...surely there are better linebackers than jake holland on campus now

so you guys are relying on a true freshman middle linebacker to come in and save your defense? awesomeness.

He wouldn't save it, but he would improve it. There's no doubt.

Chiz better show the SEC something next year

the Auburn fans are really working the "wait till the talent gets there" angle - wasn't that the motto for last year as well?

either way, I'm just pumped to see all the good quotes from OJ Howard favoring Alabama

I think it says a lot that OJ and his parents drove all the way to Dallas after his game Friday night. Also a good sign that Marlon Humphrey made the trip.

it's valid that a solid LB can start as a freshman and make a defense better as a whole - I just think Auburn should consider their goal to be "2014 title hunt" not 2013
