2010, 2013 Iron Bowls: 45-21 -> 10-41 (1st half -> 2nd half)

Saban's Alabama lost their two biggest Iron Bowls late. Auburn dominated the second half of both games. One more offensive score would have made the difference in both games. Assuming that Auburn is good next year, let's see if Alabama can break the trend and win the second half.

Have to stop being so conservative with the lead in the 2nd half.

We really werent. We just couldnt move the ball AT ALL in the 2nd half of 2010, and we couldnt put the game away this year.

We should've tried to score before half this year. AJ has been pretty money in 2 minute offense.

I thought we shut it down in 2010. This year we were doomed with so many mistakes and not being able to trust our kicker.

This. We got the ball back with 1:41 left. They had just scored and were getting the ball back to start the second half.

Only problem is that Saban keeps going super conservative in those situations. If he doesn't trust AJ to add another score, he'll never trust anyone to do it.

The entire second half was like that. The one time they really just put the ball in AJ's hands was the 99 yard TD. If we still had last year's offensive line we win with that gameplan.
