LA- Why so much hate for everything about the softball program? Ive never seen such bitterness in every post you type out. You bash players,coaches you probably even think the hotdogs at the stadium suck. Why?
I see a need to change up some things, but I also try and see good things from the softball girls. Their dedication to the game and the time spent trying to get to the super regionals only to see game 1 end in a heart breaker hurt. Then I get on here and read (fat girl this,fat girl that, clapping seal first base coach,ect. During our good stretch at the end of the season you disapear only to wait till a loss and stick your nose in here with the same old shite.
We need to hit better,we need more speed,lets fix that however but I support all the girls in crimson till the last out.

All truths here. Does Murphy realize he’s tearing down what he worked so hard to build? He needs to know in no uncertain terms that if next year is a repeat of this year, then the heat on his seat will rise exponentially.

I fully agree he needs to adjust. I dont see being 500 in the sec as a standard. When I think Alabama softball I see us in the World Series on a regular basis. I just not bailing out when we made a super regional. If no adjustment is made then its time for new blood. This recruiting season will be crucual.

I mean, it does seem like we have an abnormally high amount of fat girls 
I also feel like they get in worse and worse and shape from their freshmen to senior years.

As I said we need more speed, my way of saying that we have too many ......I wont say it. We need more SPEED.

That was a very intellectual and well thought out comment. What else do you do when you're making an arse out of yourself. We're discussing softball and the decline of the Murphy era. One natty in twenty years hardly qualifies you for a lifetime gig without oversight. Talent carried him, not coaching. I guess we need more fat girls.......

Ok LA - you comments through this whole thread berate the players you say you support. Show me one post where you say anything positive about any player. Show me . I pretty much agree we need faster players and one or two big girls didn't hit. Hemphil crushed it at the end. Second I never said I was a 100% Murphy supporter. I said we made a super regional when it looked like we wouldn't and played well but things need to change. Third I posted I would like to see a 71year old man try and hit a college pitcher ( a joke)and you go off like I'm an idiot. We seem to have a different thought process on this college sport. I will continue to give my opinion of this situation and you find me ONE positive post about an Alabama softball player in this whole 22 page thread.

I can assure you the players on the team know and are perplexed on how out of shape players are playing based on the sheer luck of hitting a homerun. Murphy is done. The players showed they have no fight and nobody should blame them......
