Highlight on Kiffin coaching up the QBs and WRs.

Also, the last throw in that video, the deep ball from Coker.

Sims threw a nice deep ball too before that, but the camera didn't do it justice.

AM will never play a down at QB for Bama. He needs to be practicing his punting.

I'm surprised he hasn't transferred already.

smartest thing he could do. Hes got a good leg, was booting some 50 yards in the air in the spring game. A punter who is a legit passer is very valuable. Hes never going to make it to the league as a qb

A punter with a cannon would be pretty badass .......this Offense needed another weapon ....sheesh

He's not a punter and he was never seriously being looked at as a punter. He punted on A-Day because Scott hadn't arrived. He punted a couple on fan day after Scott and a walk-on but spent 95% of practice working at QB. He may never play a meaningful snap at QB but he's not going to punt in a game either.

Dont think anyone actually believes he's going to be our punter. Im saying he has a better shot making the league as a punter than as a qb.

Morris won't make the league as anything. Hope he's working hard getting a good degree, because like the rest of us--he will need a future outside of football. I expect him to transfer next summer, after he graduates.

Imagine if Sims transferred way back when he was not happy about the way he was being utilized, we didn't land Cooper Bateman over the Utah schools, and Cornwell went down with injury as a starting True Freshman. We would be relying on Alec Morris and Park McLeod.

nah, we'd still be relying on Coker.

Yes I think that was a given, but I just forgot to add what if Coker decided to stay to compete with Winston or some other reason.

Point of the comment was, worst case scenarios, how would you feel 5 minutes before kickoff and Alec Morris or Parker McLeod is the QB

I remember when people were talking up Alec Morris being our future QB.

Looked really bad in that video.

yeah one "insider" was adamant that Morris was the best QB on our team. i think he's a spencer pennington level QB.

I remember people telling me Morris had just as much talent as Cornwell/Coker and would be right in this QB competition. I mentioned Morris didn't move like those two, but they claimed he did.

He was never going to be the guy. He just doesn't have what it takes.

meh, hindsight is 20/20

I never predicted him to be a shoe-in as a starter, BTW.

He had a well known Texas private QB coach that fanned the flames of his hype.
