I wasn't very high on Flowers out of high school, but I'm very thankful that we have him. I think Harris will get a lot of time by the halfway point of the season.

I'm not going to lie, I don't know much about him, but he looks like a monster.

Bo Scarbrough has a torn ACL, BamaMag has confirmed. It is an isolated ACL; no additional damage to meniscus or other ligaments. #Bama

I always liked Flowers and thought he would be a surprise with his play. Now I hope I was right and glad he was an EE.

Bo should recover 100% from what it sounds like and hope he does.

We'll be fine with RBs.

Why didn't we get any Drake stats? Did he play? Put one on the ground?

Henry, Drake, Flowers, Harris. Still not a shabby group. Yeldon ran for over a thousand as a true fresh. Well be fine.

Luckily we are deep with offense weapons, I have a good feeling about Flowers, he looks tough. Can I get an estimate of the next time Sims and Bo might be 100%?

The positive news was from the two young QBs as redshirt freshman David Cornwell threw two TDs, a 40+ yarder to O.J. Howard and 50+ to ArDarius Stewart on quick hitch routes.

Tells us more about Howard and Stewart than it does Cornwell, unfortunately.

Hey, they can't run that far without him getting them the ball.

Non-VIP from a poster on BOL:

quote:

David cornwell and Blake barnett are the real deal. Both dropped a bomb or 2. Barnett has excellent arm strength and pocket presence and the thought is if he weighed about 15-20 more pounds he would have a legitimate chance at starting this year. TONS of potential with BB and he truly thinks we might have a superstar at the qb position. Blake did have the pick 6 to ashaawn though not sure how it happened but said he bounced right back with 2 good throws after that.

Ardarius Stewart is fast as lightning took a 10 yard hitch 40 yards to the house.

Eddie Jackson is still getting beat deep. Not sure what his deal is but I wouldn't be suprised to see Cyrus and either brown/hump who both look excellent so far.

Henry had a 65 yard td run and a few other food runs. BEAST what else can you say. I think he puts it all together this year.

Ragland has the potential to be a top 10 pick this year. Might be the best player on our team.

Hearing conflicting reports on Coker some say pretty good and some say decent but to me it sounds like he's a little inconsistent.

Ronnie Harrison is a beast and I think he ll be starting from day 1 even with geno back.
Dionte Thompson had 2 picks but really needs to hit the weight room.

Still hear Jonathon cook could make a move at safety too .

I think we have a few guys who can be deep threats though, and with Coker's arm I think we'll stretch the field a bit more this season.

The defense is gonna be nasty. Glad to see TB and Hump are standing out. Need EJ to get it together.

I still wish we'd play all four in Dime, but then that creates a question about who to take off the field. Mo Smith at Star has a lot of potential.

Ronnie Harrison and Hootie Jones will be a badass duo at Safety. Size and athletic ability is all that needs to be said.

I talked with a guy from the UA athletic department who watched a little bit of the scrimmage and he said we have big concerns at QB. He said none of them looked good, TIFWIW
