How much do you want to bet that he'll be Alabama's first Heisman-winning QB?
I'm not predicting shite for 3 years down the road.

But sure, I'll bet that he doesn't win it in 2018.

You're the same poster that posted your little smart arse laugh faces when people said Tua would take Jalen's spot last year. You're a fricking tool

I don't miss these "debates" one bit.

there are still a few with the delusion that he wasn't ready and that we were better off with Hurts.

I know and it blows my mind. Keep in mind though, these are the same lemmings who said Tua wouldn't play a meaningful down until his senior year barring injury to Jalen. I think their paradigm was abruptly shattered in the NCG and they're still trying to cope

What is with this false narrative? Most users here were prepared to see Tua compete for the spot this spring. Personally I didn't want Tua to be forced into the same bad situation that Jalen was last year. Everything worked out for the best. The team picked up #17, and Tua along with the rest of the team have some momentum rolling into next year.

Yep, and some users insisted that Jalen would be the starter until he went to the NFL

Who are these people? I don't think anyone was saying this after the 1st few games of this season.

I disagree based on what I saw on this board this year.

Of course, my own opinion is inherently as biased as yours I suppose.

Tua really came on in bowl practice and despite having some flaws in game management as well as some mental miscues we got the win in the second half. UGA was totally unprepared, the defense got healthy, Hurts was able to hold serve as long as possible and then Tua came in when we were forced to sling it downfield to come back. Saban just dominated that qb position / roster management this year.

You guys are sniping at a legend.

Tua has already made the Bryant Museum and is a Bama legend.

Disgusting.

Pretty sure Dre Kirkpatrick left during halftime. On the homers broadcast it showed Landon Collins shaking his hand as he left and him saying he was “leaving early to beat this traffic”. Thought it was pretty bad of a past player leaving like that and with that excuse.

As far as people saying Tua wouldn’t start this year. I can recall several posts of people saying that he would never see the field this year unless it was a blowout. Hell some even said he wouldn’t play until Hurts “went pro”. This was during bowl prep mind you when the whole “Tua has been getting first team reps” info broke by Boz. They said he only got those reps cause Hurts was sick. So yes, many people did say Tua wouldn’t play.

So if you, huddle or river want to start some shite have all the facts and maybe some first hand knowledge else frick off. You don’t know shite.

Don't stroke out. It's just ridiculous to say that turnovers in practices precluded Tua from playing more or starting this year, but turnovers in real live games didn't stop the coach from playing Hurts last year when there were other quarterbacks there that had turned the ball over zero times.

Or maybe you're butthurt that I said last year that Barnett would transfer if not given a real chance, and you said it wouldn't happen.

And then I said Hurts' lack of a passing game and other problems would get us beat vs a good defense, and you said Hurts was fine but we didn't throw the ball because we didn't have to. Oh, and the problems were the line or the receivers. You may have noticed that the line and the receivers seemed to play a hell of a lot better when Tua was qb.

Or maybe it was when I said receivers were obviously frustrated with Hurts and you laughed and said it was all good, only to inform us later with your "insider" info that, no, it wasn't at all good.

You probably have a source for some info, but you can't think for yourself Boz and you don't have much knowledge of the game.

Is that frickin off enough for you Boz? Is that knowing a little shite?
